You can't scare like that. I really thought at the beginning of the episode that I turned on the wrong season when I saw Luke in Lorelai's kitchen.
And for some reason I thought that Jess would find a replacement for Rory to make her jealous at the same time!

Come on, they still remember what Dean's ideal girl is: who would cook him dinner every night, like the heroine of a black-and-white show. And Rory is twenty years old, and if her grandparents allow her to eat at Yale and have fun, it's unclear why she should give it up for the sake of a guy who is doing some kind of game with his life. Yes, it's selfish, but I believe that a smart girl like her can afford to experience such a carefree life while there is a chance.
