Falsification of evidence at that time, apparently, was not punishable by law.

@shei350: well, they had a confession, and they could not present the lens to the court as evidence.

@Imperators: well, they didn't represent a lens. They presented as evidence the behavior in front of witnesses. Of course, there is a question whether this is not a provocation, but rather no than yes

@Gourry_aka_pm: this is manipulation - oh, she lost the lens, wow, what kind of carpet you have, you can lose anything in it.Oh, there isn't, so maybe in the car? And the witnesses are ready...
I would say that the current Mentalist has legs growing out of just such episodes)

Colombo asks for golf lessons - he hits the ball perfectly - says he will never learn to play this game.

@Bart182: in fact, he lies a lot.The moments when he sincerely does something and says about himself can be counted on the fingers.I tend to think that everything about my wife is a lie, so to speak, to join the conversation, to strike up a conversation, to get a person to talk...

@Sam_Terry: sometimes it seems to me that the biggest plottwist would be the fact that Columbo doesn't have a wife :D

@Sam_Terry: only the series had a spin-off in the form of the Mrs. Colombo series, although it did not achieve the same success.

The first unintentional murder. I feel a little sorry for the killer, because if he hadn't started hiding the murder, everything could have turned out differently.

The recipe for making a Columbo episode more interesting is simple - let there be more Columbo! In the last episode, he seemed to be in the background, and look what it led to - the episode came out somehow incomprehensible.
Charming is the moment when he was amazed that after talking about a left-handed killer, a man just sat down and began to write with his left hand hdd Here are such moments - when emotions are very strong from a person and Columbo, although accustomed to a certain mask in his behavior, cannot restrain them, it seems to me the most valuable. As well as a million different facts about him, like that he doesn't have enough time not to wash his car - to fix the turn signals, or how he tested the patience of the head of the detective bureau, throwing a fishing rod about the fact that the victim was dating someone, and actively switching to the taste of the dish :D as a result, the person like an idiot began to show interest and this could hook Columbo)
And yes, he still has a beautiful head of hair. I love her very much

And a special Guest Star (Special Guest Star) is Ray Milland, who played the main role in Hitchcock's "Dial M for Murder".
