A great episode in which you sympathize a little with the killer: partly because her motive lies not in viciousness and greed, but in anger from despair. And also because she is such a little eccentric grandmother who made her way "from dirt to princes" with her work and talent.
It's a very nice episode, here you feel the thoroughness with which both Columbo and the writer were approached. Probably because, in general, the cast is small and there is time to show the lieutenant's independent thoughts (I've missed this since the last episode of the first season and that episode in the car), and the actress played wonderfully, "swatted her face" perfectly.
Sooo pleasant experience. The sixth season is kind of passing, but this one starts so well!
