It's sad that the series was shut down for season 3. ;(
It's the best TV show I've watched in years. I'm sorry to say goodbye to him.

According to the books, Maria gave birth to three children from Horry. Two sons and a daughter died at a young age. Maria herself died shortly after the birth of the 3rd (son Richard Arthur).

When I saw the woman in the boat, I thought Horn would have a dilemma between his wife and the rescued one. but no. they did it in a different way.

Of course, there's no one to jump into the water except Cap himself and his steward! (Chekhov's gun🙂)
forays ashore purely on Star Trek. when the captain and his XO personally go to work.

The Ameri were essentially allies of the Franks. France supported the American revolution. and the USA is French.
In 1812-1815, the Anglo-American War actually happened.

imho. This series is better than Sharpe. It's obviously more expensive (it's expensive to shoot on the water) and more elaborate. I think if Sharpe had two episodes a year, he would have been better. But I like Sean Bean. more than Ioan Gruffudd.

Gruffudd then went to serve the "old" King Arthur in Camelot😁 King Arthur (2004).
and then of course The Fantastic Four (2005).

@berion87: Jerome Bonaparte (1784-1860) — future King of Westphalia (1807-1813), Prince of Montfort (1815-1860), Marshal of France (under the Second Empire). jokingly nicknamed "King Yerema" by the Russian troops🤣

Elizabeth Paterson (1785-1879) and Jerome Bonaparte were married on Christmas Eve, December 24, 1803. "Betsy quickly became known for her risky taste in fashion, starting with her wedding dress." in England, judging by Jane Austen's screens, the dress is quite in the spirit of the times.

Elizabeth gave birth to Jerome's son on July 5, 1805 in London. because da Boni forbade her entry into the occupation. Europe.
their grandson Charles Joseph Bonaparte (1851-1921) was the U.S. Attorney General and... the U.S. Secretary of the Navy.😄

portraits of young people. and photos! Old Jerome.

@berion87: Yes, it's a pity that they didn't continue. Horn has a shot ahead. conspiracies against Tsar Alexander I, the return of the sunken treasures of the Ottoman Empire, a meeting with Simon Bolivar (Latin. America from Spain) and the title of Chevalier of the Legion of Honor from Napoleon III, even though he fought with the Franks. Hornblower died in 1857 as an admiral in the Royal Navy.

the continuation of the series can be called the 1951 film Captain Horatio Hornblower R.N. where he is played by Gregory Peck himself. 1807 was there, and Horn was already a full-fledged captain and a seasoned sea wolf. cold blood. and restrained. and appeared. 2 Horn's wife Lady Barbara Wellesley is the sister of the Duke of Wellington himself. the film is 50 years older than the series, and the shipbuilder. shootouts are shown better. Hollywood.

Hornblower and Bush.
