Любопытно, что этот эпизод был частью запланированного своеобразного кроссовера между четырьмя сериалами NBC, эпизоды которых выходили в тот день, 3 ноября 1994 года. Сначала в эпизоде сериала "Без ума от тебя" (https://myshows.me/view/2961/) произошло непосредственно само отключение, потом последовали события "Друзей", которые мы уже знаем :) Следом в программе шёл "Сайнфелд", но Джерри Сайнфелд отказался участвовать в этом кроссовере и подачу электричества к началу его эпизода "восстановили" (условно; в "Сайнфелде" про отключение света не упоминается вообще).
Наконец, в заключительном эпизоде дня, в сериале "Madman of the People" (https://myshows.me/view/34501/), главный персонаж пишет новостную колонку об этом отключении.
