I probably liked the dynamics of the film the most. At the beginning of the film, dreams are shown vividly and even insanely, then part of this madness was embodied in real events - and the color scheme also changed...
I was a little surprised by the ending - after crazy helicopter jumps and lemon pies to cross the border and from the denouement, you expect something like this. It's like the newspaper doesn't really close, or the photographer bought it at all... Or that as an ending they will show us how Walter fulfills his dreams further, or just travels ...
... but the ending is quite open, without follies and other things. Perhaps symbolizing the main message of the film - how easy it can be to blur the line between fantasy and reality, if you are not afraid to make decisions and their consequences. However, the fantasies did not end in anything in the end, and the created reality gives confidence in the continuation of the hero's story further)
I'm doubly sorry that I didn't like the film when you read such positive and bright reviews about it. .
It fills the days with meaning and I really want to try something new
