this film has something incredible in the atmosphere, you don't want to break away from watching, you immerse yourself completely in the story of life and love; feelings are conveyed very strongly, I advise you to watch!

Pillow - I didn't like the film adaptation. Francesca wasn't hysterical in the book. And there was no talk of numerous women in other cities. Very few conversations are shown, but it was because of them that they fell in love with each other, because of the kinship of souls. The movie is somehow all about sex and passion, and it's like she didn't go with him because he has a lot of women. Somehow they trivialized the meaning of the book.

It's a pity that she didn't leave. I was afraid that everything would come down to the same thing. But you don't know. Is this longing at home with those who spit on you better than a possible undertaking?
My husband is damn good too. I'm sorry, I couldn't help you with your dreams. I just moved it to the states, and it turns out I locked it at home. Yes, kamon, so anyone could. Don't touch women with whom you have different goals for life if you're not going to help. Kids are even cooler. My daughter realized at least in adulthood how shitty they were, but my son is still a basket, ugh.
Well, was it worth it? I would have gotten in the car when I had the chance. And you don't have to explain anything.

Children would have understood everything anyway after death.
In the modern world, I'm naturally in favor of divorce, not running away, but if it was soooo scary to be convicted then, then it would be worth taking the risk. And her husband would have been labeled a coward.

@ngc4319: I didn't let the movie go yesterday either. I think the author also thinks he should have left.
I was only confused that my feelings might have been dulled in our shared life, but Eastwood's comment looked so hungry for the warmth of home that he would have made an effort. And Meryl Streep is not a young girl either.
And everyone would look like this at 65 and 55, I have no words.
And how openly, directly, and without trying to look beautiful from any angle, they live in the frame.

I really liked the movie! Initially, I came across a lot of clips from the film on social media with a caption about how to treat a woman (for example, moments from the first day of Francesca and Robert's acquaintance). And finally, on my day off on vacation, I decided to watch this movie.

It is important to say that from the first seconds the film draws in its homely atmosphere. In my opinion, in the modern world of gadgets, this is very much what we lack. The atmosphere is directly created by everyday life itself, the main characters, the music, even the dinner of the characters. And the moment of dinner is the most memorable for me.

As for my personal opinion about the ending, it is quite twofold. On the one hand, one can understand Francesca's choice. If she had left with Robert, life would have turned 360°. Not everyone is ready for this. It is also likely that having children and a household greatly limits a person in such situations. On the other hand, I can agree with the commentator above: "It's a pity that I didn't leave. I was afraid that everything would come down to the same thing. But you don't know. Is this longing at home with those who spit on you better than a possible undertaking?" I still think Francesca was scared by the whole situation, there is already some stability at home, she is used to such a life, perhaps this was the reason for her choice.

I will definitely recommend this film to my friends and acquaintances, first of all, enjoy this atmosphere and reflect on the complexity of life choices in such situations.

10/10

An incredible tangle of emotions.
Meryl, who is 46 years old for a second at the time of filming, is sensual, graceful, just a goddess.
So many touches and glances, so many tiny details. Who knew Clint could play like that? And what's more, to film it?
You believe in every kiss, every hug, every word, every frame.

This kind of confidence comes only once in a lifetime
