Description
After discovering a passenger ship missing since 1962 floating adrift on the Bering Sea, salvagers claim the vessel as their own. Once they begin towing the ghost ship towards harbor, a series of bizarre occurrences happen and the group becomes trapped inside the ship, which they soon learn is inhabited by a demonic creature.
A great atmospheric horror movie about a ghost ship, with young Emily Browning and Karl Urban. Not without flaws, but with its own unique twist. It's a pretty good plot, with slight notes of the grotesque and a moderate amount of bloody scenes and dismemberment (some scenes are very ingeniously executed). It doesn't scare you much, but it copes with its entertainment task very well. And I can't be too critical of this film, because I'm a big fan of the legends of the Bermuda Triangle and the missing ships, and there aren't that many films on this subject.
My favorite moment is when a girl shows a story on a ship.
