The Hell of Cannibals, which was most likely originally conceived as an anthropological horror film, in the process of its creation simply outgrew the narrow limits of its subgenre, because on the material of the horror film it tells a parable about spiritual cannibalism and hypocrisy of modern society living in the era of scientific and technological progress (partly to that The same is dedicated to the philosophical fantasy film 2001: A Space Odyssey by Stanley Kubrick, created in 1968, as if between two stages of the modern scientific and technological revolution). The most important thing is that the Cannibal Hell makes you think about what is more important: scientific progress (which some scientists revel in now) or moral. And will it ever come, this moral progress, or will man forever remain at the level of a cannibal.
