After proving himself on the field of battle in the French and Indian War, Benjamin Martin wants nothing more to do with such things, preferring the simple life of a farmer. I don't like war films at all, and this is literally the only film on this subject at the moment, which I was absolutely delighted with. As if with such a stellar cast, it would be truly sinful to film something bad. The timing is very long, but you don't miss a single second of that time. The plot is very tragic, but that's what it captures, you sincerely worry about the fate of each of the characters. There were also moments of joy, sadness and hope. It's been a long time since I've experienced such a range of emotions from a movie, I definitely recommend watching it.
