A very good film, magnificent in its simplicity and kindness, even despite the serious topics it touches on. The story may seem banal in some ways, but it is very touching and evokes real sincere emotions. Separately, it is worth noting the excellent work of Geoffrey Rush, Emily Watson and Sophie Neliss.
