Jenna Ortega has stated that there will be more horror in the second season of "Wednesday"

Jenna Ortega, who plays the lead role in the series "Wednesday", shared details about the second season of the Netflix hit. According to the actress, the new installment of the show will feature more horror and action, and the season itself will feel larger in scale: "Each episode will probably feel a little bit more like a movie, which is nice".

Previously, Ortega, who also serves as a producer on the show's second chapter, said that Wednesday will not have a romantic interest in the new episodes: in her opinion, it "doesn't make sense" for her character.

The first season of "Wednesday" was released in November 2022. Production of the second part was supposed to start in 2023, but it was postponed due to the strikes. It is expected that now shooting will start in April and will take place in Ireland.

The series is about Wednesday Addams, the daughter of Gomez and Morticia. She studies at Nevermore Academy, where she tries to subdue the psychic abilities that have manifested. But her troubles don't end there: Wednesday will have to stop a killer terrorizing a small town and solve the mystery of her parents, which connected them 25 years ago.
