Harvey Keitel remembers the past in the trailer for the TV series "The Tattooist of Auschwitz"
Sky has released a teaser trailer for the mini-series "The Tattooist of Auschwitz", an adaptation of Heather Morris' novel of the same name, inspired by a true story.
In the center of the plot will be a Slovakian Jew Lale Sokolov, who in 1942 gets to the concentration camp Auschwitz-Birkenau. There he has to work as a tattoo artist, putting identification numbers on the hands of prisoners. One day he meets Gita, and the two young Jews fall in love at first sight.
The older Lale was played by Harvey Keitel from "Reservoir Dogs", while the younger one was played by Jonah Hauer-King ("The Little Mermaid"). The series also stars Melanie Lynskey and Anna Próchniak, and the music for the project was composed by Hans Zimmer and Kara Talve.
The six-episode drama will premiere on May 2.

And the fact that Hans Zimmer wrote the music is also encouraging)
