The trailer for the second season of the sci-fi series "Beacon 23" has surfaced
MGM+ showed the trailer of the second season of the sci-fi series "Beacon 23", based on the book of the same name by Hugh Howey. The trailer announced the premiere date of the new series: all eight episodes of the show will appear on the streaming service on April 7.
The action of the series by Zak Penn ("Free Guy") develops in the XXIII century in the most remote corners of the Milky Way. The first season told the story of government agent Aster and ex-military man Halan. They find themselves trapped in one of the many beacons at the edge of the universe that help spaceships pass by safely.
In season two, Beacon 23 becomes more than just a prison, and the Artifact raises more questions every day. The residents of the Beacon aren't sure what to do next, and so they have to rely on each other. However, the lack of a common plan may prevent them from saving the day.
