What an asshole Lynley is! To say that to Barbara! It's a pity she didn't punch him in the face, it would have been useful for him. All I want to say about his wife, Helena, throughout the series is that she's a moron. An eternal expression of sullen stupidity on his face, an open mouth with a drooping lower lip, those matted hair, and a dull stubbornness. The best profiler! I wouldn't want to see the worst. Barbara is smarter, kinder, and more decent than anyone else.

I really don't like such scenario moves... Lynley suddenly went from being a sensitive, smart guy to a pompous ass! Magically straight. And not only that, in this episode, Barbara corrected all their donkey mistakes and miscalculations, and actually solved the case, but in the previous episode she saved his life! Or his marriage affected him so much - he became as stupid as his wife Elena. She's always wrong about everything, too, but she's stubborn and smart, and she gets offended if you disagree with her.
