Murray is generally afraid of strong women. In the first season, Catherine put pressure on him with his marriage, and he reached out to a modest, pretentious saleswoman. In the second season, Dennis started running the store, Murray himself feels unnecessary, while Catherine is unhappy in her marriage and is afraid of her feisty husband. Murray is now intuitively drawn to the second one. His lies culminate when he lies to Dennis when he goes to Catherine. The relationship is under threat. A logical question arises: is it really necessary for Dennis Murray herself? Especially now that she is rapidly moving up the career ladder. I want to believe in their love, but... There's too much standing between them.
Westen sometimes behaves like a cruel, unfeeling tyrant, then cries and wants to fix everything.
Her brother and taking care of Flora changed Catherine a lot, and she turned into an adult woman, a mother, whereas in the first season she was just a rich girl spoiled by her father, who wants to get her own way by any means.
The most adequate person who is aware of everything that is happening and always gives the right advice is Dudley. But Murray often doesn't listen to him, and for good reason.
I was afraid all the time that Sam would mess up with the watch.
I think Catherine, Clara, and Dennis miss Murray more because of his inaccessibility. But he has a plus - at the end of the first season, he did not marry Catherine for convenience, despite the fact that he would have lost everything, and at least for this he can be respected. I don't like him anyway.
And Dennis will show everyone else. She seems to be kind (sometimes too kind), and believes in people, but she has an inner core and ambitions (she could immediately jump out for Murray, and he would sort everything out somehow, but no, she wants to do everything herself and realize herself). I like her very much.
Catherine is so good at being a mother, it suits her very well. With Flora, she becomes happier, and the girl is affectionate, needs care, but not spoiled, as her father thinks for some reason.
It's a pity that Miss Audrey was leaked, it's kind of empty without her.
Suzy's line is not interesting at all, it would be better if the old characters were revealed, all the "skeletons from the closets" would be shaken out.
Overall, the series is great, and I'm glad it wasn't stretched over a dozen seasons.
