Overview
When her newly-built home is razed to the ground by an earthquake, low-achieving, clumsy, and troublesome third-year high school student Kotoko Aihara is forced to share a roof with the school's—and possibly Japan's—smartest student, Naoki Irie. Kotoko is not actually a complete stranger to Irie-kun; unfortunately, a single love letter that she tried to give him in the past has already sealed her fate as far as he is concerned. Throw in some quirky friends and a meddlesome mother, and Kotoko might not even have a snowball's chance in hell of winning the older Irie boy's heart. Yet Kotoko remains optimistic that, because she now lives in his house, her unattainable crush on the genius since the beginning of high school has never been more within reach.
~Based on the manga called Itazura na Kiss, this show is the anime adaptation.

The plot is quite long in places, and in other series of events over the edge. An important thought that can be traced back to the very last episode distinguishes this anime from most works of the genre - perseverance and patience even in personal life bear fruit, albeit not immediately (it may take as long as eight years). Anyway, are there many anime that tell about such a long-term relationship and family life with the subsequent birth of a child?
The drawing is certainly not perfect, but the upturned noses, fluffy bangs and the general style of portraying the characters reminded me of anime and manga from the late 80s to the mid-90s (which is why I actually decided to watch it), and that's great, because how many masterpieces that time gave us! I don't know why anyone didn't like Seiyu's work in this series - against the backdrop of the continuous harems and etties of recent years with their screaming and ever-sobbing characters, "Naughty Kiss" is a delight to the ears of everyone who loves original voice acting.
In general, the series deserves all five out of five possible stars, romantic otaku must watch!
