Personal selection: everyday life, comedy, romance, drama, experiments, student life, musicians and artists, Japanese perfumes, psychological thrillers, a little monsters and the rest. Old and new. There are relatively few action movies, without the popular multi-season series (senenov).

A personal list. Something that I would definitely review one day. Romance here does not necessarily mean a love line in the plot :)
This anime is just created for everyone who studied at a music school! Personally, I was not a little nostalgic, I realized how much I missed classical music, I immediately went to the symphony orchestra and printed out a bunch of sheet music for analysis. The main character is literally a genius. All she knows how to do is pick up by ear. She is poorly acquainted with musical literacy, and studying at the conservatory is only due to her genius, but of course the teachers do not take her seriously and as a result she plays only children's songs.… And next door she has a brilliant conductor, a clean woman, a cook and a bachelor! But who's thinking about love here? You can only think about music here! Pleasant graphics, student life, familiarization with classical music (this is me muse. I graduated from high school and I understand names and works, but modern youth are completely losing their history), interesting characters (my favorite type is enthusiastic personalities! Who could be more interesting than an otaku?). By the second season, the graphics are also growing, and we see... music! Those who went to the symphony orchestra will understand what I mean, or those who watched the Nodame carefully – when you see musical instruments being played, you don't just see the physical process of sound production, you really "see the music itself"! This feeling is not transferable, and I can experience it by constantly reviewing the second season. The third season unfolds like a flower, summing up all the novels that have begun, bringing all the love lines, setting clear positions. We finally took a walk through the beautiful and pure world of classical music and said goodbye. And now I'm dreaming of another anime about classical music, and I don't know if my pleas will be heard.
Oh, I'm infinitely in love with this anime. Now I have it on the top shelf with "Don't Give Up" in the shojo genre, although I haven't watched much yet. But anime is great. And laugh, and cry, and fall in love.
@cat_shre: good question. Most likely, a significant (if not a large) part of the anime budget was spent on music and artist fees. Well, do not forget that for something like this you need the help of consultants, and at a high level, which is also not cheap. The recording process itself is generally a separate topic, there are so many subtleties that you can go crazy. In a word, high-end anime, for shoujo/josei it's so exorbitant.

It's very interesting how they recorded all this music.
