Боже, за что ты так жесток с бедным Филиппом? Он полностью отдаёт себя церкви и постройке этого храма, а жизнь с ним так ужасно обходится! Он хороший и честный, мне его очень жаль.

You can say that I have been in another world. Pillars of the Earth is a series that doesn't seem like that at all. The story that came to life on the screen is so lively and colorful that you completely forget what you are doing and where you are, completely immersed in the narrative.

The beginning is very intriguing and in general the series captures from the first episode. And the actors are just gorgeous.
