It's a very beautiful story, even a parable in some ways.
How good is Death passion (or is it my habit to fall for nice punctual, neat business men in great suits?)

It's so amazing that we only know about him that he is Death, but an actor, the image itself contains just a ton of honey for the eyes and ears. It's very strange, but when you're not the only one feeling the same, it can already be called normal :)

A witty, cleverly twisted series. A really well-chosen actor for the role of Death. And the final twist, where the Bookman pushed a bunch of ties to Death and went to sell to heaven, is just amazing.
By the way, you watch the Twilight Zone and immediately see familiar plots, which nevertheless play out quite fresh.
"You say it's impossible? Maybe in most places. But still, it happened in the twilight zone."

The plot somehow reminded me of a melodrama with Anthony Hopkins and Brad Pitt - Meet Joe Black, but everything here is more noir, you can say retro style, a more pleasant and kind story

I have no doubt that I once read a fairy tale with a similar plot. The cunning peasant outwitted death by talking her teeth. But here, of course, the story is presented more melodramatically, because someone else's life was also at stake.
