@jj_cas: Mulder and Scully complement each other, their dialogues are very lacking. Such series show that each of them alone would not have lasted on a high note for so long.
And I think it's a very good series, even without Mulder.
But adopting a girl, in my opinion, was not the best idea. What if something happens to Scully (as it happens all the time)? Let's see how it ends, in connection with the DNA results...
@LonelyMorra: the whole episode was terribly bombed and infuriated by two characters- Scully's brother and this detective, they froze me out the whole episode
oh my god. SUCH AN END!! IT'S SO UNEXPECTED, DANA HAS A DAUGHTER, MY GOD. AT FIRST, I THOUGHT SCULLY WOULD JUST ADOPT EMILY BECAUSE SHE'S MELISSA'S DAUGHTER, BUT IT'S EVEN MORE COMPLICATED HERE. OMG, THIS IS SO INTERESTING
Actually, if you think about it, Scully was lucky - she got a "ready-made" child. She managed to avoid sleepless nights, endless screams and always dirty diapers.
@wonderfucker: Well, don't tell me! Everyone handles children differently, and all children are different And everyone has their own attitude to pregnancy and infancy
An incredible series! Intriguing and suspenseful. It's so great to see the Scully family, also in a Christmas setting, despite the creep that Danna makes.:3 For some reason it seems that everything will not end as rosy as we would like, but who knows .../
@Whiterabbit94: to be honest, I'm tired of watching stories about Samantha, I don't understand what's true and what's false, and in general, was this Samantha really there??? What if Mulder was making up a sister for himself because he was traumatized by his parents' scandals???? If she was really stolen by aliens, where is she? Why isn't she shown in an alien ship or something? What are the clones?? ? Enough, let's be clear.
@SophietheValiant: I think both are) genetically her child, but obtained as a result of experiments But the main question is why?? Why is all this being done? ...
Scully's brother is so stuffy, spoiling the impressions of the episodes he appears in. The ending surprised me.
And the whole episode was plagued by the question, what happens if both the adoptive parents are dead and the biological mother? Can biological relatives claim this child if they didn't know about his existence before?
Mulder is a little lacking, but Scully is doing a wonderful job of investigating on her own. It's unexpected that Scully has a child, although with this abduction and experiments, it's unknown what else will come up. Scully's brother continues to be incredibly annoying, kind of infuriating.
A very touching episode. Scully opens up a little bit from the other side. I'm really looking forward to the continuation of this story. So many questions... So far, one of the best episodes of the season! The ending is simple 🤯
When watching the episode, I repeatedly had a question about Scully's relatives - are they really that cold, or were Dana/Melissa the unloved daughters/sisters in this family? Why didn't either the mother or the brother stand up and try to find out/see this girl themselves if they loved Melissa when they said "maybe Melissa had a daughter, I did a genetic test, it matches"? Moreover, both dissuade Dana, telling her that you've overworked, you just want your children and that's why you're so worried about the girl... I don't understand what kind of attitude it is. It would be fine if the girl didn't look like Melissa at all, I would still understand such a reaction, but here she is literally a copy, the genetic test matched, even the time when she was born coincides with the time that the family did not see Melissa. I basically don't understand the behavior of Scully's relatives in this episode. Although the series is emotional.
It's like being doused with cold water at the end! Although Scully may have many children, the clone from the lab said that the abducted women are our mothers.
Hmm, Bill is an asshole to some extent, but let's face it, he has a reason to be like that. His sister Melissa was killed because Dana and Mulder kept going where they weren't asked, digging too deep. And when Bill found out that Dana also has cancer, and sees this Mr. handsome next to her, brotherly protection naturally flares up in him, considering that he is also a soldier, and it is not customary for soldiers to be overly emotional, so like when Mulder brings an ampoule with a microchip, Bill does not believe in all this, he does not want to flatter himself with hopes, he is afraid that if he hopes, then Dana will die, and his hopes will simply be empty and useless. But Dana's family is really so strange, Bill and her mother are not ready to believe that Melissa has a child, or that he could be, even though, as mentioned above in the comments, the child in the photo and Melissa as a child are one person. What about Melissa's type of child/Dana, Mulder did the right thing by not telling about the vial in his pocket, as he took into account Dana's desire that she did not want to torture the child, and he soberly understood that one ampoule at a time, and then he would need more and more, and so on throughout his life, but where to get it? So he decided not to torture Dana with the torments of choice, and chose himself, taking into account everything he knew and understood. The ending is very strange, the aliens either stole the child, or the child became sand, and it's amazing that no one checked the coffin properly before sending it to the church, not after arriving at it.

I thought the whole episode that the girl and Melissa were clones.
Double episode about Scully: "Hold my beer."
? Enough, let's be clear.

The ending surprised me.

, especially the story of the appearance of Scully's cross
Scully's brother continues to be incredibly annoying, kind of infuriating.
My brother is a rare asshole. I didn't like him when I first saw him. -_-
Random fact: The teenage Scully was played by Gillian Anderson's own younger sister =3
Although Scully may have many children, the clone from the lab said that the abducted women are our mothers.
