Discussion: Season 1, Episode 15 Join the Discussion
48It's been a long time since I've seen such dynamic action scenes anywhere, I think this is the highlight of the series. Each one captures attention from the first frames and does not let go until it is over.
Incredibly beautiful soundtracks, almost all using only folk instruments. The appearance of the characters is perfectly worked out - the same La Wang Ji in different time intervals is drawn at different ages, and it is clear that this is a different time period for the same character. The backgrounds, mountains, buildings (except for too thick water) look very cool.
But there are no disadvantages, and perhaps the most offensive is the characters. They are all exactly the same and are not undergoing any development. There is a main villain, a villain because he is embittered and wants power. There is a main character who prefers to put on a frivolous appearance, deep down he is sensitive and empathetic, and at the same time, under no circumstances is he going to give up. There is La Wang Ji, an aristocrat to the core, manners come first, which is why all manifestations of emotions come out awkward and touching. The same can be written about the rest, and all this becomes clear after the very first scenes in which the characters participate, and does not change throughout the series. The only exception is the female head of the destroyed clan, she was still able to be shown in several roles.
And yes, Chinese names both sound unusual and are remembered with great difficulty)
So you're mentioning Drifters, and not Hirano's main masterpiece, Hellsing?
Lol, no. One author, one style. I advise you to compare the manga.
And just because I watched it, I'm talking about the difference in their styles. Not the difference in the author's handwriting (he is just one), but specifically about the difference in approaches to drawing people. Well, reading manga or not is still my choice.
No offense, but the drawing is identical. The setting is different, it is the style (handwriting) of the author that is visible even to people far from animation.
If you look at it straight, then in drifters the drawing of characters is much softer, more rounded, in hellsing there is more angularity, more sharp facial features. At the same time, the color varies incredibly, in drifters there is an abundance of blue shades and muted others, even the blood is dim, closer to maroon shades, hellsing is flashy red, because blood blood vampires everywhere should be bright.
The author's style is manifested in his specific drawing of the eyes - it becomes noticeable right from the first frames, in general, in the love of night shots, when the darkness and the stars and the sky are high.
In general, I can write about it for a very long time)
You answered my question yourself. Specifically pointing out that from the first frames it becomes clear that both works are by the same author. That's why I actually asked a reasonable question: why Wanderers, and not Hellsing, if the second one appeared much earlier?
I'm really looking forward to the second season, although if they show how Wei Ying will be killed, it will be very difficult to watch....... but it is very interesting to find out what will happen next!!
BUT, throughout the cartoon, there is a feeling as if I missed part of the series. Apparently, in order for the full picture of the plot and characters to gather, it is necessary to read the manga.
The transitions between memories and real time are poorly thought out (at first I didn't even realize that these memories were coming).
The drawing is on top, but it seemed to me that the appearance of the main characters is poorly personalized.
The whole story is incredibly addictive, the names are really scary after the light Japanese ones at first)))
Vansiani are generally sweethearts, I don't even have the words here :
Mo Dao Zu Shi 2

?
The dynamism of the frame, the folklore soundtrack, the characters of the characters are shown very well. The attitude towards the characters (both main and secondary) changes during the viewing, which is good, the characters do not stand still and you are with them. The drawing is good, the characters are diverse (just like their characters).
There are a few gaps, but that's how it should be, which is why we want to continue.
Watching anime is perceived easily, but if you like not to think about anything and unload your head, this will not suit you. Firstly, you need to remember names and clans, and secondly, there are many events per episode that you need to remember in order to understand the motivation of the characters and in general what the hell is someone fighting again.
I advise you to watch it, it is very, very suitable. And I'm going to read a novel))
I did not expect this from this work at all. I came across a video of Dick, where he talked about this "Chinese anime", I was interested, at least a little angry at his words about yaoi, which is not there, at most senen-ai. In total, I put it off for a long time and looked at New Year's Eve at once. I cried a lot, fell in love, damn, I really couldn't tear myself away. I usually mark the episodes as viewed one at a time. That is, I watched the series - I'm celebrating. Here I marked with very long intervals, because I didn't want to waste time on it. This happened (if we count down from the moment I registered here) only with Violet Evergarden, the Steel Alchemist and the Sixth Zone.
The plot has dragged on so much that in the near (very, very near) time I'm going to read a novel:}
Damn, I was so upset when I found out that there are only 15 episodes in the season... I hoped every episode would last like the first two. Uhh... yeah... I'm a little bit... I'm exhausted... Eleven in the morning after all.
So many thoughts, but I can't describe them in words. I liked it too much. I'll be waiting.
Here it is - the problem of unpopular titles.
(Although I suppose it was worse with Giass)
It was impossible to break away. I just finished, but I want to see everything again. wow
You need to get acquainted with this world at least twice.
on the other hand, I understand that if you do not familiarize yourself with the novel beforehand, then the impression may be spoiled due to several things. firstly, the entire first season is almost entirely devoted to flashbacks from Wei Ying's youth, they are mixed together, apparently to make it easier to perceive the prerequisites of why he embarked on a dark path, but because of this, much remains unclear + a feeling of overload. Secondly, a lot of characters have lost their characters along the way, for example, Jiang Chen in the novel is more expressive and emotional, compared to the anime, he is generally passing through here. Wei Ying was also softened, it seems to me that in the original he is constantly creating some kind of funny game, everything is served with restraint here. it's a pity that the flashback was cut during their studies at Gusu lan, because of this, the negative character is not Huaisan, but he is also important for the plot. In general, many important arch scenes have been greatly reduced, and they make a much stronger impression when reading the novel.
I would advise everyone who liked the anime to read the novel, so you won't have any questions about the same characters, or about what happens in flashbacks at all. names, names of cities and weapons, titles are much easier to remember as you read, by the way.
in general, the anime turned out well, you can screen every second background frame π
I quite accidentally watched the recently released donghua on "The Celestials", then I went to read a manga, and then a novel, and now, apparently, the same path will be with "The Master".
Anime is wonderful, but yes.... as usual, if there were some comments, I didn't understand a lot.. the fact that all these flashbacks are generally understood only in series 6 π
At least they would have warned , otherwise it turned out really strange
The story is no less poignant as "The Celestials", so I feel like I will shed tears again in the novel ...
Eh, Mosyan certainly knows how to do drama in the past
As for donghua in general, I was very interested in how this story would be embodied in drawing. Before that, I read a short story and watched a drama. But there are always few baths, so I want more and more. Much has been taken away from the original, but some scenes have been made more poetical (for example, the massacre of Wen Zhulu and Wen Zhao). And so, it seems that all the iconic moments have been preserved. The emotions from donghua are the same as from the original: happiness. I am happy to see my favorite characters again.
In his rebirth, Wei Ying retained this rebellious vortex on top of his head. A very nice detail.
I don't know why no one realized that flashbacks had started. In one of the first episodes, at the very beginning (before the opening), Wei Ying's voice announces: "let's go back to the days of youth" (something like that). And then at the beginning of the series there was always the title of the chapter: "the past". I watched it with the subs, they wrote: the chapter "the past ..." and the title "training", etc.
The characters have fairly standard archetypes, but if you believe the readers of the novel, then this is the fault of the creators of the series, who did not quite correctly censor.
Now I'm going to finish the second season and go read, I urgently need to find out how the isioria is built without censorship.
P.S.: It was a shame for Lan Zhan when Wei Ying called him a stranger. He was worried about you, you pumpkin firebrand.
PS: The characters already had two names, but are they given any third ones there?? How am I going to remember all this? *It is stocked with a pen and a notebook*
When Lan Zhan tried to invite Wei Ying to come with him to Gusu, and Wei Ying called him a stranger, God, there is actually so much resentment in his words and so much understanding that he does not want him and the people around him to be humiliated for his actions, so that no one he suffered more next to him so that no one would condemn people who are trying to justify him, he considered Lan his comrade before anyone else.. Horror, the heart is in the blood from such deep filled scenes..these heroes are always trying to protect everyone by pushing them away, and driving themselves into the grave, but they hurt me
A truly wonderful anime and everything in it is fine, except for the suggestive relationship scenes (stupid censorship) and cut scenes (it could have been stretched over 500 episodes, I'm ready to watch, because I enjoy every second).. That's 98 flutes out of 10!!!
Drawing fire.
It's hard to remember the hu of the hu.. Oh, those Chinese names. But the plot is very interesting and exciting, the 1st season is non-stop
I liked the way Wen Ying's hairstyle changes because of the path he follows.
Oh, how Jiang Chen protects his brotherπππ
The way we're being abruptly moved from the past to the present - wow, abruptly (
"Smile of the Emperor" β€ Ahahah, at least something funny is left from their past^^
