It officially starts today, but I've already watched it and was very pleased. A very simple but beautiful crime solving, the technical side of the series is much better than I expected (I hope this is not a single phenomenon), the seiyu sound amazing, especially Saito, the sound is attractive, and, of course, the Moriarty brothers, whose acquaintance was good, seem to be interesting characters. I'm looking forward to the next episode.
When there were too many anime about genius detectives, it was time to show the stories of genius villains. As I saw from the first episode, Moriarty is really a criminal from the point of view of morality and the law, but the motives are such that you begin to sympathize with him. I'm looking forward to what happens next
@NNYU: can you advise me what anime about detectives can be watched? Because I only know a few: - The perfect insider - detective, murder in a closed room - Id:Invaded - maniacs, solving crimes through the subconscious - A box of evil spirits - detective
@shei350: Oh, the box of evil spirits didn't come to me at all. I'll start with the fact that (judging by the listed titles) it should go: Boku dake ga inai machi (I advise you from the bottom of my heart) housekishou Richard-shi (detective "in watercolor tones") death parade (not just about detectives, but I advise you to take a look) sakurako-san no ashimoto ni wa shitai ga umatteiru hamatora
these are questionable (although a direct detective): kabukichou sherlock kitsutsuki tanteidokoro fugou keiji dantalian no shoka kamisama no memochou phi brain
the horror: karakurizoushi ayatsuri sakon petshop of horrors jigoku shoujo mononoke shinrei tantei yakumo
Just supernatural (light and medium-white): Kyokou Suiri (supernatural detective) Fukigen na Mononokean (Light Milota, schoolboy gg) gegege no kitarou (classic) tactics (not particularly light in the atmosphere) matantei Loki ragnarok majin tantei nougami nero mokke (everyday, average) cuticle tantei inaba (light and laugh) bungou stray dogs Ookami-san to shichinin no nakama-tachi (more like a semi-school detective helper) yamada-kun to 7-nin no majo
and there is no direct detective here, but riddles are oozing: xxxHolic (just my love, the main theme is not in the detective, but in the supernatural) shouwa genroku Rakugo Shinjuu (the most magnificent two seasons, watch and enjoy) seishun buta yarou (comedy, drama, mystery and mystery, but it's worth watching + don't forget about movie) houseki no kuni (here the devil himself will break his leg in guesses, a strange thing, but attractive in its strangeness)
@shei350: another anima this fall may also be suitable (there is no direct detective, but the general theme is about investigation and problem solving) - Ikebukuro West Gate Park
Motives operate on the principle of "Talion", which is very similar to my morality. It's nice to find a title suitable for your considerations, in the person of the main character, and not the antagonist.
William Moriarty is so similar to Makishima Sego from Psychopassport and not only in appearance - intelligence, a kind of morality. I did not think that I would come across such a similar antihero after the charming Makishima))
purely from the first episode, it seemed that William's morals and lifestyle were all right. Unlike Makishima, who inclines schoolgirls to perverse murders of classmates at least...
I watched 5 episodes. A beautiful wrapper with the promise of delicious candy, but there is only no candy inside. It's just that every time they show crime and lynching, they substitute pretentious conversations and propaganda of narcissism instead of the plot.

I watched about half of the above, and I'll throw another part into my plans, they look very interesting.
