So she then guessed that there would be a war in the family and one of them would die, and then they showed that Michael intended to kill Tommy.

Lizzie was upset because even after his daughter's death, he couldn't resist, not to mention that he slept with a woman who initially, like her husband, pours dirt, although she herself is not an angel, because she is a former lover.
When Poll was alive, Lizzie played a significant role as a woman who somehow restrains her husband from impulsive infidelities. Moreover, she was guided mainly by Polly's arguments, and she, nevertheless, is a very smart woman.
As much as I look at their relationship, it hurts me for Lizzie. She is devoted to Tommy, does not cheat on him, replaced his son's mother (I was surprised that her son calls her mom, as if Grace did not exist), turns around in the household with the children, and used to be in business. There are no responses from his side. The cold "I love you", hardly touches her, is again closed in terms of secrets.
Yes, she deserves more, as Tommy himself eventually said, but she will still bear the cross, being next to her in illness, being next to her unrelated son, listening to such vile personalities as the Mosley family, just because she loves.
She and Ada are the only remaining female characters with their heads on their shoulders.

I'm still leaning towards the theory that she decided to help with Arthur for the sake of donating to other people. If she was going to take the money for herself, she would hardly have told Tommy that she would name the mission after him.

@queenmarishka: His bird and Tommy are the only things that keep him in business, and since Tommy is no longer his assistant, then the bird will forgive everything.

@Adelink_k: Everything is clear and not very interesting, unfortunately.
It is clear that after the death of McCrory - without Polly, a lot had to be rewritten. But here it's like normal screenwriters have died against the background of covid and students are finishing their drafts. Fragments leading nowhere..

There were very few really good TV shows anyway, and only a few lived up to the steep endings. We'll see.

I agree, when Michael was introduced, I was sure that he would become the partner for Tommy that his brothers could not and did not want to be. But a very cool hero was somehow prosaically merged

По-моему они начиная с первой серии первого сезона были и всегда уверенно держались на этом уровне пафоса :)

Вообще, с правильным настроем в этом сериале почти все персонажи разговаривают и ведут себя забавно с их серьёзностью и пафосом, но Майкл всегда выглядел особенно забавно, будто бы он - лишь жалкая попытка быть таким же серьёзным и пафосным, как остальные. А теперь с этими усиками он вообще смехотворно выглядит. Кто бы ни придумал напялить ему усики - по-моему этот человек тупо угарает над ним 😭

Слил, как и весь шестой сезон…

@SilverТIger_7: Драматичный - да. Глубокий - сомнительно. Много абсолютно разрозненных сцен, ведущих в никуда. Да ещё и какие-то новые сюжетные ветки начинают за 1-2 серии до конца.

Проблема в том, что 1-2 сезоны совмещали и семейные проблемы, и динамичный развивающийся сюжет и каждого персонажа по отдельности, да с роялями в кустах. Этого то и не хватает, а не сцен с драками. Будто сериал резко сменил аудиторию
