The meeting of Rand and Mat warmed the soul a little, but was it really only for so short a time that they met? It shouldn't be like this. Most likely, Matt will still join his friend, maybe he will want to help him in this meeting with Lan and the others. They need to be in Falma anyway, even if Ishamael thinks it's in fulfillment of his plans.
About Rand. Despite the fact that the external events around him are changed compared to the book, but I liked how his growing distrust of both Aes Sedai and the Forsaken showed. He really remains alone. And I feel that in the next episode we will learn about the secret of Portal Stones.
Lanfear is awesome, she's still a bitch, but what a bitch! Amazing! And it's cool to show how she conducts her intrigue against Ishamael.
The rest of the episode is, of course, a hodgepodge of everything. And there is a twofold feeling. Yes, I like the episode and at the same time it's like a passing episode, forcing and leaving more questions by the end of the season.
Elaine didn't do much in this episode, but what her interest in theangreals shows is a very cool moment, especially for the future.
I was also pleased that they mentioned the creation of the first aidam. A purely lorny moment, which did not play a special role for the cycle, but it was very pleasant to hear.
The interaction between Rand and Lanfear is amazing. The actors have excellent chemistry. Yes, the revelation is much earlier than the book and this will affect all their dynamics, but I like the implementation. Interestingly, in the series Lanfear showed him Egwene and informed him that she was at Ishamael's Cape Toman. Not at all like in the books, but the result is the same. All the paths of the main characters lead to Falma.
The reunion of Matt and Rand turned out to be very pleasant. Especially Matt's tease about Rand being a Dragon Reborn and that Matt wouldn't let him be an arrogant nobleman in fancy clothes. Yes, the place and the reasons are different, but they conveyed the meaning.
Perhaps the most incomprehensible and controversial for me is the Min. In books, her visions always came true. Will they follow the same path here? Unclear. It is clear that in the books Min was the most "simple" in terms of motivation and other things, but it made sense, given her history. In the series, she, like some other characters, was made deeper. It remains only to see whether it will benefit further or not.
Here is Liandrin definitely an example of how it would seem to be a "one-celled" character and turn him into an incredibly interesting one. And here the whole depth is absolutely to the face. The actress contributes in many ways. I think her role will be expanded in comparison with the books. It would be foolish to lose such a talent.
Alanna knows that Rand is a Dragon. This... interesting. Let's see how it will affect the future history.
The Moiraine line directly screams that there was practically no such thing in the Great Hunt. Family drama, being cut off from the Source by Ishamael, conflict with Lan. It is clear that they did not want to withdraw Pike from the series for almost the entire season, but the implementation turned out to be very weak. Her character remained. Loyalty to the Dragon and the intention to bring him to the Last Battle, too. But there was too much drama added to it. Fortunately, part of it will end in the next episode, because it's time to leave Cairhien.
It is noticeable that 8 episodes are not enough at all. Especially in terms of movement. They had to rush everyone to Cairhien to recreate the scenes. But in the series, it's literally shown as if it's a trivial matter. Yes, Tar Valon, Caemlyn and Cairhien are not as far apart as from some Falme or Tanchico, but it's still a long distance. And then Alanna reports that the Amyrlin is in Caemlyn. And after a couple of scenes, Lan already finds Xuan. And a couple of scenes later, all the Aes Sedai from the Tower are also part of the delegation to Cairhien. Yes, most likely there was a time skip. But it's all very well shown...sharply. And it immediately catches the eye.
The most important question is how we will get to Falme. And although there are Ways, I will hope to the last that they will screen the Portal Stones and everything that came with them. One of the best chapters of the cycle, after all.
I agree about Liandrin, I still keep the assumption that Elaida's future line will be added to her, although it seems to have been mentioned in the news that Elaida will still appear as a separate character.

Согласна со всеми про слом Эгвейн, это было очень сильно. Не зная, чем это все кончится, я искренне ждала, что она еще выдержит одну волну натиска.

С одной Найнив ничего не меняется (кроме серии в Арках), она как бесила так и бесит, ничему не учится персонаж, только кидается на каждого первого и всё тут, ну а Морейн хоть под конец заговорила, а то как подросток, который не научился с людьми разговаривать за всю свою жизнь (ведь это было ещё до потери силы, получается), что же у неё там в прошлом произошло, что так её изменило((
Про лохотрон с обещаниями для красной это конечно фиаско. Получается, темный всем обещает с три короба, воспользуется их силами и кидает. Но если уже произнесла клятву , то отказаться от нее не может. Вот красная и плакала с разочарованием на лице. Эх дурашка.
Морейн ничего не делала в этой серии. Дракон тоже странный. Надеюсь он расхерачит Шончан. Вот Найнив , не пойму , почему своими силами не пользуется?
