I liked Aviendha. Maybe the cheeks are a little too rounded for a desert dweller :) but otherwise, she is very much in character - she knows how to fight, treats wetlanders condescendingly, if not contemptuously, is able to joke and listen to reasonable arguments. A great character potentially, in general.
I have a sad feeling about Moiraine's relatives. Lanfear rarely spares anyone... And Moiraine knows that, but she doesn't really count on possible victims. A tough character.
Shaving heads is another sign of a high position, as are long nails. The more shaved, the higher the position; only members of the imperial family shave their heads with a role.
Damani are women who are able to channel the Force, who were put in the service of the empire. They are considered in fact things or, at best, animals or pets.
Sul'dam are women who control and control damani with the help of special collars and leashes. They enjoy considerable respect.

Merial is one big abuse of the original source. It's not even an adaptation, not even based on motives. And fan fiction is better written. Simply... there are no words.
I read the books three times. The first time some things seemed strange, the second time I understood a lot, and even stopped hating some characters, even one brother of one spoiled person. And the third time I just returned to this interesting world. Although he is not without sins and holes. But still, the series is not even close to this quality.
It is important to me that the series does not depart from important ideas (the spirit of the book) yet + it's great to see how the screenwriters recycle the material, and not create illustrations for the book. The book, in my opinion, tires with a protracted plot of 14 books (I suspect the author wrote taking into account a commercial contract, as Balzac or Dostoevsky once did).

Да вы правы, некоторые моменты в книгах можно было сократить.
Но пока они так сильно все исковеркали в сюжете, что это нельзя называть адаптацией.
Хотя эта серия, ну в основном линия Эгвейн, Найнив и Илейн больше всего меня порадовала.
А где Том? Он уже должен был появиться.
Ох и эти ногти у шончан, Турак реально мастер меча если может так сражаться.
В целом сериал как среднечковое фентези норм. Но это не Колесо Времени. Либо оооооооооочень отдаленный параллельный мир
Мне любопытно другое, покажут ли Элфинн и Илфинн. Они ведь даже в книгах были интригующими и впечатляющими и при этом предельно таинственными
Как я понял, пока функцию учителя Ранда выполняет Логайн (то же не плохой вариант). Посмотрим, что сценаристы еще придумают ;-)
Для меня этот такой вкусный момент по книге - аж сплошная психология о проекциях и теневых сторонах личности))

Лиандрин все еще какая-то странненькая и сероморальная. Вроде ведет девочек к шончан, но помогает им же сбежать. Опять эти хитрые исполнения клятв что ли? Привести-то привела, но есть, как говорится, нюанс 😂
И почему все дамани с кляпами во рту, а Эгвейн нет. Найнив как обычно ломится не разобравшись, хорошо хоть Илейн у них адекватная.
Авиенда норм вполне, потанцевали хорошо.
