Overall, a strong series. From the point of view of acting, I liked the scene of William's conversation with Charles (when William allegedly came to the Queen) — it was very emotional.

In general, I liked the series, the eternal problem of fathers and children was shown perfectly. Philip, who has clearly realized the mistakes of the past, Charles, who does not want to make mistakes, and William, who still has a chance to avoid them. The fact that he eventually made contact with his father was very touching.

Прекрасная серия…разговор Филиппа и Уильяма, кадры молодого Филиппа с маленьким Чарльзом (спасибо за Мэтта Смита), и конечно же финальные объятья💔

Как же мне будет не хватать этот сериал...Последние 5 минут серии я просто не дышала

Для меня это лучшая серия из всех сезонов. Отцовская боль - так редко раскрываемая тема.

And then a wise grandfather with experience laid everything out on the shelves. Of course, everyone would like to have such a Philip in such situations...
As Philip correctly said (I will freely convey) that, since previous generations could hardly go into parenthood, this is no excuse for new ones not to try and pass all the fuck up's on. We need to work on ourselves, no matter how incredibly hard it is, and become better parents for our children than our parents were for us. It's very relevant to me now, so the topic resonated strongly.
And I couldn't help but cry - on an episode of a conversation between Charles and William, when the son accused his father of all mortal sins (how painful it is for any parent to hear, and everyone will be there, in Charles's place, sooner or later); on an episode of a conversation between Philip and William; and, of course, on the final scene, where William understood everything and immediately went to apologize to Dad. It was so warm and touching that it hurt my heart. And Philip's look at them is both regret and joy in him.

Хотя с Уильямом я не против, этот парень реально вылитый принц Уильям, предыдущий актер был не так похож, а этот вот как Дебики вылитая Диана, так и он - копия Уильяма. И играет гораздо лучше своего предшественника.
А вот с Гарри какая-то шняга. Даже погуглила, Гарри тогда не выглядел, как английский гопник, в отличие от этого актера. Был милый, обаятельный мальчик. В общем, мискаст, на мой взгляд.

Очень сильная серия. Филлип сам был херовым отцом, я до сих пор помню, как мне было жаль Чарльза в сериях, где он уехал учиться. И вот именно линия его отношений с отцом делала мне очень больно. И кажется в пожилом возрасте Филлип понял насколько Чарльз пытается стать непохожим на его в своем отцовстве. Понравилось, как он читал старые письма и смотрел старые видео, даже у меня ностальгией повеяло. Ну и сама сцена ссоры Уильяма и Чарльза очень драматичная! Но, конечно, я не ожидала что Уияльму тут якобы 13. Я думала 16-17.

A really heartwarming series. I agree with the commentators above that it is good to have such a grandfather who will sort everything out. But it seemed that no one had hugged the unfortunate boys in the time that had passed since Diana's death. And if the last boy in the role of Harry just stole my heart, now the performer of the role of William has done it. That's really similar. And here's the new Harry, I'm sorry, but it's just terrible. Why change the boy, because it's only been 2 months?! If only the old actor would stay for at least a couple more episodes.

Начало серии - это словно Диана в образе мотылька, которая напоминает Уильяму о себе и последующее начало раскрытия обстоятельств принятия им произошедшего с Дианой.
Окончание серии - логичная развязка кульминации конфликта с Чарльзом и принятие ситуации - очень понравилась. Джонатан Прайс играющий роль Филиппа отыгрывает прекрасно.

Ну такое. Мне кажется, дети до сих пор таят обиду на отца, и уж точно его не простили. Их лица на свадьбе с Камиллой говорят обо всём. Поэтому я отчасти не понял к чему эта слезодавилка в конце в виде обнимашек. Чарльз по факту виновен в смерти Дианы, если вообще не заказал её убийство. Чёт Корона в финале максимально отбеляет королевскую семью. Может действительно создателям заплатили. Сюжет стал беззубым.

Как быстро растут дети.
Наконец, Филипп перестал быть мебелью, хоть на пол серии. А еще было ужасно мило увидеть фото/видео с актерами из первых сезонов, Мэтт Смит ван лав ❤️

А молодой Вилльям - Ed McVey отлично подобран.

реальный чарльз симпатии особо не вызывает, а в сериале просто вау, и внешне очень приятный, и поведение в отношении с дианой в последние годы, и отношение к детям. очень рада, что в конце серии они примирились с первенцем.

Какой стероид они там в своем чае принимают? Сколько прошло с событий предыдущей серии? Я сначала подумала что пару лет, но Уильям приехал на учебу и там письма скорбящие, то есть это почти сразу после похорон +- ? От чего он тогда стал капитаном америкой? А что с Гарри? В предыдущей серии он маленький мальчик, через пару месяцев уже какой то бухающий пацан?

Офигенно сериал передает современный взгляд на системную семейную психологию и семейные травмы, где все виноваты, но никто не виноват🙏❤️

Завжди захоплювалась принцем Едінбургським, дідусем. Така така сила, така мудрість. читала, що Гаррі на нього більш всього схожий. А ще він дуже любив пожартувати. Іноді - занадто відверто.
