It finally turned into some kind of cinematic voiceover footage of a blogger's show about houses. The reason for the promised comedy does not even smell anymore...

The whole series feels like one big trip that won't let go, for some mystical reason. Despite the fact that some here are unhappy with the unconventional development of events, they still continue to watch) it's strange, right?

@bon-zo: I watch everything with an Emmy, including 'this' . Even the 3rd season of Twin Peaks is better, I realized that I was too stupid for it, here I don't even understand what the plot is.

It seems that here, first of all, the human mores of people who, for the sake of their goals, are ready to sacrifice both principles and morality, but at the same time they themselves do not understand what they are doing or what they want. Personally, I am very curious to observe Spanish shame, let's look further.

I'll try to explain a little how I see it. This whole series is about the internal conflict of a modern American liberal with money. First, it is important to clarify that a liberal and a leftist are not the same thing. The liberal supports the existing regime and, although he is not indifferent to the fate of the disadvantaged people, he hopes that their lives can be changed for the better without sacrificing their own economic and social comfort. at the same time, wearing a mask of social awareness, he is not ready to interact with his own prejudices against minorities. Whitney and Vic seem to want to do something good. they are trying to be selective about who to sell houses to. They are trying to help the poor. They are trying to make friends with the local indigenous population. but only as long as it is convenient for them. money will always be a priority. at every step they lie to themselves about what they are doing and why. They're trying their best to look good. Vic is fixated on his wit, which he doesn't have. Whitney wants to be an adult woman and condemns those for whom her parents pay, while her parents bought all the houses for her. On camera, they want to look like a happy couple, though.. Well, obviously they are deeply unhappy together. he runs after her tail, asking what she wants, and she barely tolerates his presence next to her. They really want to be good, while getting everything they want: money, fame, prestige. but within the modern American capitalist system, this is impossible. therefore, they are constantly in tension, in constant need to cheat, invent new and new schemes of self-deception. That's their curse.

@PianoInBush: (let me clarify that it would be better to say a liberal with money, otherwise it reads like a liberal's conflict with money, and that's not what I meant))
