I like it too.
Supposedly nothing is happening — in fact, there is a lot of psychological stuff.
The actions and thoughts of the main characters fill the atmosphere + soundtrack + camera angles. Through the mapping, you literally get into their universe and what "life should be like" in their understanding. Distorted, since the idea of being good by any means can look like this...
Everything that they do or happen around only confirms their "true" view of the world.
In short, it's interesting to watch.
