I watched the first season two weeks ago. Wow, this is the second one for me.. The screensaver, like in the first season, is awesome, I immediately looked at everything in it.. I hope the new season will be no worse than the first one🤞

I did not expect to see the continuation of the cult mini-series "Enmity" in the calendar, to be honest, there is some skepticism about season 2, because season 1 was simply beyond praise ... however, curiosity overcame as always!It's nice to see Tom Hollander in a leading role, not a minor one, and also plays the role of such an iconic figure – Truman Capote. I admit, this actor "suits" the roles of pompous assholes, which was worth his Lord Beckett from Pirates of the Caribbean and Mr. Collins from Pride and Prejudice! Let's see what the impressions will be at the end of the story :)

I'm glad to see the sequel, especially with an equally intriguing story and such a gorgeous cast. As always, everything is in Murphy's style, atmospheric and perfectly shot. Except that the time jumps were a little disorienting.

@Shaneer: A season about Charles and Diana was planned, but the success of the Crown scared Murphy away. As a result, the script is in the trash, plus it seems like there was still an attempt with some other book authors... Well, after the torments of creativity, Capote got his place as the main character :)

Hollander is so nice to see in the central role, and in general, such a cast has gathered — awesome. Also directed by Gus van Sant, he hasn't shot anything for 6 years. Well, actually!

The first season is one of my favorite series. 7 years of waiting and finally the second one! I don't hope for the same level, but it's interesting to see. The first episode made me read the biographies of several key characters, critics' reviews of the series and various articles on the topic. This is already a success, because it's interesting) after all, showrunners are masters at conveying the atmosphere of time and society! I'll be watching

I don't know what my final opinion will be, but the first episode is great, in my opinion.
Everything is fine here..aesthetics of high society, past times, beloved actresses who have already matured and play gorgeous women are beautiful.
Beautiful and talented is Naomi Watts, whom I had never loved before.
Capote is beautiful to the point of disgust, it is interesting to look at him, it is fascinating to watch him.
And the non-fictional story itself, on which the plot is based, is not just a rather original idea for the series, but also simply informative.
Thanks to both the second and first seasons, I delved into the wilds and details of these conflicts, read many facts from the biographies of many extraordinary people..
In general, I say:Bravo!
