Wolsey hitting everyone left and right is already a clinic. The son of a butcher, I understand everything, but he was a cunning politician, not a jerk. Cromwell, who chums up with Anne Boleyn and gives her translated prayer books- well, that's just stupid. Why the hell would they be friends at all. And such a pious Catherine.
Uh, what a strange scene - a girl in her underwear catching a chicken, a stranger walks in, and she didn't even think to throw something up, sitting as if nothing had happened talking to him. Or is it because she's lost her mind? Anyway, it's not clear why we need Thomas Talles' line. The worst choice to go to Paris and find out about Wolsey was Norfolk. Of course, if we are talking about reliable information. Although you shouldn't expect the truth from Francis either - I think he's also a fan of sitting on two chairs.
I understand Henry's motives in the divorce-he needs an heir, and Catherine certainly won't give him that-but why is this question about the queen's innocence still being raised? Didn't Henry find out the truth on their wedding night? As if the proof was either there or not. Everything is simple.
@LL345: Henry doesn't care about that. He found himself younger and prettier. He's already set up for a new marriage, so he doesn't care about this evidence.
Again, the king's "mother" does not want to give him a divorce. Well, I just can't accept Catherine and Henry's line as husband and wife, they look ridiculous together.. full mission statement
Yeah, I watched it with a stupid wish that everything would be different this time. How could one not heed such an address from the queen, the one he supposedly loved? Don't give a damn, humiliate, undo all the good things. What a monster he is.
Anne Boleyn wants to get married so much, but we know what awaits her next. If she had known, she might not have wanted to, all this supposedly "love" of Henry's changes more often than the seasons.
