Rory and Jess are very nice together, it's good to have someone around to talk to. But that's what he got out of the hospital, not cool(
Although in many ways I even understand him

Well, it's clear that Lorelai is worried about Rory, but she might not be so cruel anymore, she sees that Jess feels only good for Rory, and she values Luke..(
I hope that Jess will come back, anyway you should))
Come on Chris, go back to your family since you feel so good with her, don't be stupid!!!

"You need to go to bed after lunch" — yeah, or else conspiracy theories will be seen in the color of traffic lights, Lorelai😁 I love her delicate pink coat at the end of the movie screening.

"I need a minute of your attention. — I'll give you two, because you scare me." typical communication of any person with Kirk. His film is just a tower, I thought I was going to die laughing, Arthaus was crying.

"You won't be transferred to the senior class! "At least I'll learn where the classrooms are."
Luke is so clumsy, but such a good uncle, he cannot allow his nephew to spend all his potential only on stupid antics, and repeat his own fate.

"And why the blanket? — So that the chair doesn't freeze" — mother hen, I love Lori even more at this moment. But Chris, who was sitting next to him, who rushed into the night only after hearing about his daughter's injury, was especially touched. It's a pity, of course, that only such a sad occasion made them reconcile, but it's good that they did it at all.

In vain, Rory is lying, it would be better if she told Dean the truth despite his reaction, at least it would be more honest, and then he wouldn't have anything to show her, she drives herself into a hole.

"You're not going to kill me. Think about how boring it will be for you to live without me" — what an asshole he is, and, ahahahah, provoked a girl on a non-date. And after all, she is carried away by the daring nature of the boy, drawn to the unknown and what he awakens in her exemplary soul. But what turns out to be much more important is what Rory pushes Jess to do, makes him believe in himself and his extraordinary mind, put this teenage rebellion aside and take up his head, because with his mental capabilities, he really could have done a lot if not for these attempts to attract the attention of a constant from a lonely boy.

@chch93: Yes, there was an accident, yes, Jess was indirectly to blame for it, but how much Miss Lorelai Gilmore sometimes does not watch her own language in her worries for her daughter, eh, she regrets it right there.
It became so sad for the boy, he was sitting alone on this lake, blaming himself the most, and most importantly, no one understands him better than Luke in this situation, so he did not scold, but just sat down next to him and silently supported him. And this guilt overwhelmed him so much that he couldn't even stand it and left the place where he had at least some semblance of a family for the first time😔 It's so sad how one serious offense can change your fate.

These are very cruel words, especially about a child who feels useless to anyone. I don't see what Jess did to the residents of the city that was so terrible that everyone treated him like that. Well, soryan, but anyone could get into an accident, especially since it's not his fault.

My God Kirk's movie is brilliant🤔🥲David Lynch could be proud of him, one of the best episodes of the series

It was an accident. I understand Lorelai was in shock, but she's going over the edge. Luke shouldn't have sent his nephew back just because Lorelai doesn't like him. I don't know, sometimes this woman gets so carried away.

Lorelai has overdone it, lately she has been infuriating with her attitude towards people. She thinks she knows better than anyone how everyone needs to live.
I'm not defending Jess, but he's a good guy, Rory is so alive and glowing next to him. And Dean is a boring stickler and a whiner. You can see how tired Rory is of him.
This accident could have happened to anyone and it's clear that Jess blames herself.
Chris is good as always

After all, with all their goofiness with Lorelei, they love Rory so much and, most importantly, show it with deeds.

And I think Rory is the worst behaved. He doesn't think at all about Dean's feelings or his mother's feelings. Lorelai is her best friend, and Jess is constantly rude to her - this should have been enough to not communicate with him all the time

Well, I don't like Jess! It's also romanticizing these dangerous guys, as I believe, when they are shippered. Well, he's a dangerous guy, he's not a match for Rory either. Anyway, I see these manipulations, he violates her boundaries, and Rory just fell in love, what can you do about it. I've already realized that this storyline needs to be accepted, and I won't say that I'm super in Dean's support group (and Padalecki, it's probably time to leave for the shooting of the super). I just don't like Jess, apparently, I personally grew up out of love for such characters (Like him, Tristan, etc., of which there were many in the films of the 90s-00s. There are too many bells, but I wonder what will happen next.
Apparently, this is also the stage that some girls ("dangerous" guys) go through.
It is clear that Jess is not directly to blame for the accident, he was very worried about it, but such behavior as his can often lead to such incidents.

And I agree with the comments above: his behavior with Rory's mom is also very revealing. And with Luke. Tell me 100 times about his terrible fate, but I don't consider it an excuse. And I'm trying not to judge Rory, but it's really not a good situation with Dean. But it's so hard to break off a relationship yourself, I guess.

Infuriated Lorelai in this episode. Neither Rory nor Luke can properly tell about their experiences regarding the relationship between Jess and Rory, he comes up with all sorts of stories and excuses, and then immediately throws tantrums.

At the same time, Rory says, "don't worry, it's okay, it's okay, I'm not mad."

Lorelai didn't "overdo it" as they say here. She's a mother, of course she's crazy about such news. And she doesn't know Jesse the way Rory sees him. Yes, I would say that there is something to look at. Yes, he's well-read, but he's an asshole. Whether on purpose or it just happened, but he's an asshole and nothing justifies him. Any normal mother, of course, would be worried to see her daughter with such a
