Description
As Lord Voldemort tightens his grip on both the Muggle and wizarding worlds, Hogwarts is no longer a safe haven. Harry suspects perils may even lie within the castle, but Dumbledore is more intent upon preparing him for the final battle fast approaching. Together they work to find the key to unlock Voldemorts defenses and to this end, Dumbledore recruits his old friend and colleague Horace Slughorn, whom he believes holds crucial information. Even as the decisive showdown looms, romance blossoms for Harry, Ron, Hermione and their classmates. Love is in the air, but danger lies ahead and Hogwarts may never be the same again.
- So I am the chosen one. Oh, sorry, a joke...
Harry Potter and Hermione Granger
One plus, after the cast and crew, is the soundtrack
I understand why this part is disliked, but I decided to separate the book and the film and evaluate them separately. As a result, I will review/reread and love both.
The film, of course, compared to others, is very gloomy, muted. A lot of attention is paid to romantic feelings, which is not present in other films or in all books. At the same time, there is a lot of humor in the film, just such spot-on well-aimed humorous moments and episodes, and they fit in interestingly.
What a pity that the film did not reflect very important facts
In this part, more attention is paid to potions. And this also creates a special atmosphere. By the way, I still remember how in the game it was necessary to brew a potion, carefully and correctly throw all the ingredients into the pot. In general, this part is special and beloved in its own way.
— Believe me, Professor, I've been asking myself the same question for six years.
Poor Harry - Dumbledore wouldn't let the poor guy go on a date 😆
The actor who played the teenage Tom asking about the spell is Frank Dillane, one of the main characters in "Fear the Walking Dead" and the son of Stephen Dillane, who played Stannis Baratheon in IP
"I have no prejudices. Your mom was one of my favorite students" - reminded "I'm not racist. I have black friends" 🤣
The moon is so good and kind.
Hermione's face when someone in the class turned out to be better than her 😁 The moment when she enchanted the game so that Ron would win 😁
By the way, one of the players was played by Freddie Stroma, who in 2022 played a Vigilante in The Peacemaker.
Why is it that every time something happens, the three of you are always there? Believe me, Professor, I am also 6 years old I've been asking myself this question already" 😆
Poor Hermione - to see "disappointed" looks when Dad's profession turned out to be not dangerous 😅
Oh, these love lines - this part should have been called "... and love adventures" 😁
Is it me, or is this part darker than the previous ones? Both figuratively and literally.
I'm not a fan and therefore I rarely review it, but every time it seems to me that the birds are in the 5th part, in the quarrel scene at the ball, and they are here 😅
Harry: "But I'm really the chosen one", Hermione: hits his head with a paper 😆
R + L? I remembered one popular (spoiler if you haven't watched /read) theory from IP.
Is it me, or is the Aragog smaller than in the 2nd movie?
Who else at the first viewing thought that there was some kind of trick that Snape would really help and/or be able to save Dumbledore? Or that it's not really a killing spell?
I don't remember - was it explained in sl. films?
I understand that the whole book will not be included in the film and I had to cut it alive, but I'm still very sorry for the stories of Remus and Tonks, she is one of my favorites in the book.
I really liked the music, in the scene with the raising of sticks - just to goosebumps. The picture seemed unnecessarily dark. There are some successful scenes and interesting solutions, but in general, not my favorite movie from the series.
1) When they said goodbye to Dumbledore, and everyone raised their wands. And even with such music... For this scene, I forgave them for the unproven funeral of Dumbledore from the book.
2) The moment in the hospital with Ron's poisoning. When Sofia Rotaru's song (Lavender) came, and Ron said Hermione's name in a dream, and she took his hand. This is the rare case when a slightly modified scene from the book shows Ron and Hermione's relationship more advantageously. And anyway, in the film they talk about it more openly.
Perhaps I will also agree with the comments above about Ginny. Here, apart from the external descriptive similarity, there is nothing in common with Ginny's bookish character. I don't know, the actress didn't pull it out, or the screenwriters blew the character... 😤
It was the same with Chow, by the way. In the book she was described as a very bright and beautiful girl, and in the film they picked up a pale mouse. In short, Harry has no luck with his movie girlfriends.
Draco, how does he open up here and how sorry is he
So many interesting stories to merge for the sake of kisses and looks🤦🏻♀️ It was like watching a melodrama:(
No matter how much they scolded this part for inconsistency with the original, but I still love this movie. It has its own atmosphere and the last breath of youth before the dark war in the following parts
But some moments are certainly upsetting.
First of all, Jeanie. The actress is certainly pretty, but Ice didn't play her. As they say, neither fish nor meat. And then somehow nothing is revealed, like in the movie you won't understand Harry's choice at all
Secondly, this is no longer for the film, but in general. I've never seen Hermione with Ron. I don't understand this couple from the word at all. They don't look good at all
Hermie is smart, beautiful, ambitious and a cool girl, and here's Ron, who is neither here nor there. Nothing at all. Good boy, well done and that's it. As friends I see them, as a couple there are none at all.
Earlier, when I read and watched, parts up to the fifth for sure, I thought that Hermy would be with Harry, but he was with Jeanie. In general, this is not bad. But Hermy/Ron - there is no lavender at all, no matter how crazy it is, it suits him better
Draco finally started to open up and grow. It's a pity for him, of course, but it seems to me that if not for all the horror he had to go through, he would never have grown up as a person. He would have remained arrogant and arrogant, like his father
The attack on Nora was so illogical. Well, like, Kamon, you can think of them as members of the order would not protect their house with charms and let them just break in like that
I would also note that this part turned out to be very emotional, in some places it was simply impossible not to be moved, and the finale in general causes absolute devastation.
