And that's why I don't understand the waves of criticism in which the remake sank.
It is very beautiful, the natural views here are simply magnificent. The scenes of conquering the elements were breathtaking.
The very idea of the Ozaki Eight and the whole philosophy of the Bodhi circle seemed interesting to me personally, much more interesting than the line with the FBI and robberies, it is clearly superfluous here.
I think that the film was very hampered by the fame of its predecessor, or maybe it was worth making a separate film at all, focusing exclusively on Bodhi and his path.
