It's an absolutely atypical film for Nolan, and it's also a remake of a little-known Norwegian film from the late 90s. However, at the same time, the film stands out noticeably from the series of detectives of that time.

Good cast and acting by Al Pacino and Robin Williams. Good soundtrack and cinematography. Plus, the fascinating landscapes of Alaska and the oppressive atmosphere of what is happening.

In general, the film has passed the test of time.
