"On the edge" honestly gives the audience everything that the plot, trailers and poster promise. This is not the case when one should hope for more: the film is as simple as possible, and its claims to the label of "drama about overcoming" and "collision of a strong woman with a vile sexist rapist" break off from the plot cliff by themselves, as foreign. In the end, we get a good one-time thriller that can hold attention, but is unlikely to be remembered for a long time.

Of course, I didn't expect much from the film, obviously not one that I would want to review again because of the banality of the plot. there are also a lot of mistakes, a wound from a snake bite raises a lot of questions at least. but in general, the picture is cool, picturesque. The snake scenes are beautiful. those who are looking for a movie for the evening are not a bad option, but there are better ones.

I was especially pleased with the scene of the chase after the main character in the forest, when she stumbled, fell, dropped the camera and was already overtaken by one of the pursuers who was thrown back by an invisible entity (the fact that he hit a branch looks even less plausible than an invisible entity). Lifting the camera a couple of seconds later, the heroine has already teleported away from visually catching up to about 20 meters, crouching on a small slope, pumping the Stealth skill to 100 and 4 peasants who tirelessly shouted Catch her! They just stood up and said, Where did she go? In fact, there was a failure in the matrix, no other way! Enjoy watching it all!

It's bad enough. I sat on this ledge for half the movie, neither here nor there. Boring, little action, but the views are beautiful.
