I bought into the cast, and the film turned out to be mediocre...

It's a good detective thriller, but the intrigue is weak. I don't know if it was the script's fault or the director didn't pull it out, or maybe I just picked up on reading criminals, but by the middle of the film I knew for sure who the killer was. However, our domestic localizers once again messed up by translating the original title of the film "Damaged" - "Damaged" with the word "killer", hinting at the film "Killer's Bodyguard" with Samuel L. Jackson. I don't know what they were trying to achieve, whether to lure the audience or something else, but it turned out very badly. They catch a serial killer and what does the killer have to do with it, who seems to be a hired killer. Yes, you can interpret it in different ways, but why?! Well, let it be on their conscience. The acting in the film is good, including Laura Haddock, who played the wife of Detective Boyd and John Hannah, one of the suspects. Cassel practically did not participate, and Jackson, as usual, pulled everything on himself. You can watch it, but the film is purely a one-off because it does not carry anything memorable in itself. Well, the ending, for my taste, is terrible. For an amateur.
