I've watched the film many times already, but it continues to keep me in suspense like the first time. One of the most beloved alien universes. The coolest shooting for that time. Unfortunately, these are no longer being filmed.. No matter how corny it sounds!

Oh, what an atmospheric kinzo....I'm not a fan of Sigourney at all, but she's perfect for this role. These films about strangers, along with the film "something" (also from the 80s), I can watch over and over again.

The standard of a fantastic action movie, with which I constantly compare all other films of a similar genre. Cameron created the perfect movie as the engineers of the perfect Alien.

The movie didn't scare me at all, but it's very interesting. The characters are well revealed, which is why you empathize with them, and the design of the uterus of strangers is really repulsive and creepy. In general, it is called the best sequel for a reason.

How Cameron likes to bang on pipes with a piece of iron in tense moments. And for the first time to show the villain in the middle of the film (see Iceberg in Titanic). And scold capitalism. And women pulling themselves up. And Bill Paxton in the role of the episode.
The film is still good

That's how sequels should be. If the first part is a classic survival game on a ship, then in the second the location expands and an action movie element appears. The plot has become much more cheerful, interesting and epic. Well, the graphics for those years are generally space.

Cameron is so damn good. They say Avatar was an innovative film for 2007. But excuse me?? Did you even see what he was doing in 1986?? The final swing with the boss mom is just the cherry on the cake. I notice Easter eggs from Romulus more and more))

I remember the real atmosphere of fantasy and horror when I watched this movie on videotapes as a child. Everything was blue, dark, vague, and illegible. And that's why it's scary. But that's then. And now that the remaster has been released in blu-ray with natural colors, it's not scary at all)
But in any case, everything was shot at the highest level.
My favorite freeze frame is called "Let's burn down everything we see, shitting ourselves out of fear") Something small and not dangerous hatched out of the body. So let's burn it down with a flamethrower! Not really?)

@7utra: Well, why not dangerous? A human chest was fractured. It's toothy and squeaks. :)
Besides, their weapons were taken away, and the flamethrowers were left.

Recently, enthusiasts created a New Extended Cut lasting 2 hours and 36 minutes.
The maximum version of the movie, with added scenes that were not previously included in any of the versions. 5 additional scenes have been added, including the immured Burke. Scenes from the theatrical montage, the special extended version, and deleted scenes were combined. For some reason, Newt's trip with his parents is presented as a terrible dream or a flashback.

And then Ripley, Hicks, and Newt flew to Earth, settled on a quiet farm, fixed Bishop, and lived happily ever after.

"Strangers told her, she decided to be illegals, and here she is with us."
The film is a reference action film, one of the best in the series about xenomorphs.

If we perceive this film as separate from the alien universe, then it is normal. James Cameron is a good director, but he shot not an Alien, but a Terminator.

This is literally an action-packed action movie, strangers are being machine-gunned down every second, and a woman kills a 1-on-1 alien with a pistol.

Lost is the atmosphere of horror, the alien danger that Ridley Scott created in the first film.

As a sequel, it's full of shit, but it was shot with high quality for its time, yes.

My respect and respect to Cameron, strangers look quite decent in 4k today. But fuck, it's not a Stranger, it is..the movie Schwarzenegger was supposed to be in, apparently

Even at 25, the movie looks great. And I don't understand at all that this is a bad sequel. In the first part, there was a beautiful cat and a couple of cripples, with electric lights, nets and a complete lack of understanding of what was going on. There were heavily armed Marines with emergency situations to the skies, Ripley herself was also taught how to use these weapons, because from the very beginning she told everyone around her, arm yourself, there's a fuck. On the contrary, I wouldn't understand if in the second part she was playing the poor, frightened "lady in distress" again. Plus, the reference to the fact that she had a great incentive - the protection of the child, because she lost her daughter while drifting through space.
Gorgeous movie)
