An excellent selection of actors, amazing music, cameraman work, scenery, costumes, the very atmosphere of the film ... it is immediately clear that the creators have worked out every detail!
By the way, the film is based on real events. In the eighth century, France was indeed terrorized by the so-called Zhevodan Beast.
Although I agree that the visual, the acting, looks great with a talented director.
One of the best and favorite movies!
