I don't know why, but I only remembered Bjork's song "army of me" from a forbidden reception and I think this is because I really love this singer, and not because of the film itself.

I know for many people the film is quite mediocre and incomprehensible, poorly thought out and so on, BUT as a person who has watched this film more than 10 times (let's leave my fucking alone), I will say that the film is very deep.
It's pretty well thought out, an interesting concept to combine 3 realities:
- the reality of a mental hospital
- the fictional world of the Doll (Cabaret)
- a fictional world inside the fictional world of a Doll (action scenes with dancing)

And yes, this film is reflected in my memory as a film that begins with one character and ends with the story of another character.

Who's raising the curtain? Who chooses which movements we make in the dance?
Who is driving us crazy? Who whips us and rewards us for victory when we survive in hell?
Who is it? Who is doing all this? Who gives those we love a life next to us?
Who sends monsters to kill us and at the same time sings that we will never die?
Who teaches us to distinguish reality and laugh at fiction? Who determines what we live for and what we die for? Who puts us in chains and who holds the key to our freedom?
We are ourselves. We have all the necessary weapons. So, fight. 🔥

Zach made one, but very serious mistake as a creator - he failed to maintain the correct dosage. He has too much with action, too much with a variety of styles, too much with semantic layers, too much with slow-mo, too much with actors and logic... As a result, it turned out to be something resembling an ode to Fantasy as such, bright and spectacular, like the Guardians, but managing to be both more complicated and stupider at the same time. And this indigestible dish, consisting of a million incongruous ingredients, is served with a sauce from a simply gorgeous soundtrack.

A spectacular fantasy action movie with an excellent picture and great musical accompaniment. Zack Snyder can be blamed for anything, but he really knows how to make aesthetically beautiful and stylish films.

Overall, it's good, but I didn't like that the dancing wasn't shown.

By the way, Snyder recently began expressing a desire to make a director's version 😂
