“It's a little weird to be getting a Lifetime Achievement Award at the half point of my career. It's a little weird isn't it?” — said 83-year-old Harrison Ford as he accepted the prestigious Screen Actors Guild–American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (SAG-AFTRA) Life Achievement Award. This is the highest honor recognizing his contribution to the film industry and his iconic roles in famous films. Here’s a look at those movies.

Sure, there are far more franchises than seven, but these are the ones that have survived eras, recasting, and different fashions. They still collect billions and remind us that sometimes audiences don't mind watching the same thing — as long as it's entertaining.

Good fiction, which still looks good as a movie (but special effects, of course, have been outdated for a long time), is perfectly perceived as an independent work.

I love this movie!!! I don't like the computer graphics Lucas added. I like high-quality rubber monsters better)))

I remember how the little one experienced the mindfuck from the fact that "4" part of Star Wars was released more than 20 years earlier than the first one :)

Did you know that Mark Hamill didn't watch the first 3 parts when he starred in the 4th episode.

I'm one of those old guys who watched parts 4.5 and 6 first. Even before the release of 1,2 and 3.
And so far, these old parts of the trilogy (then it was just a trilogy) are my favorites.
Classic. The canon. Call it whatever you want. But it was from this that the worldwide love for the universe of STARS began.

The 50th anniversary of the appearance of this wonderful film on the screens of our planet is not far off 😲
I first watched it as a child in the late 90s. Immediately fell in love 😍
And today I watched this movie once again. I love him even more ❤️🔥
George Lucas and his team created not just a film, but a whole phenomenon. An epic similar to the legends of the peoples of the world.

A classic and atmospheric film: a simple but fascinating plot, charismatic characters and the beginning of a legendary saga. He watches with pleasure even now.

Obi Wan, like Houdini, stupidly disappeared. Vader was running his foot over his robes in such a funny way🤣
Considering that this is 1977, the visual and sound still look more believable in moments than in some films of recent years.

The year is 2026

I'm watching Darth Maul right now.

I realized that the beginning of the stellar
I watched wars in my distant and deep childhood. So a responsible decision has been made - to review everything from the very beginning, already at a conscious age.

Well, wish you good luck!)
The film, by the way, despite the year of release, is very pleasant to watch and no "special effects, as they say above," are capacious and unnecessary..)
