Disney + released a poster of the detective series "The Acolyte", which revealed the premiere date of the new project in the universe of "Star Wars": it will be held on June 4.

The action of the series will unfold in the heyday of the Republic. "The Acolyte" will tell about the investigation of a series of shocking crimes, headed by a respected Jedi Master and his former Padawan. As new evidence emerges, they find out that everything is not as it seems.

The project stars Lee Jung Jae ("Squid Game") and Amandla Stenberg ("The Hunger Games") in the lead roles, and the showrunner for the series is Leslye Headland, producer of "Russian Doll".
