The trailer is the weakest, I was waiting for something cool like Andor, in general, I'm not waiting anymore)). I didn't understand where in the trailer Daphne Keen might not have such a major role
You have a great script that doesn't dial ESG. The director and screenwriter are talented, but unfortunately white heterosexual men. The actors of the main roles are also white hetero. As well as the heads and chairmen of the board of directors, they are also white heterosexual men. In fact, it's almost 0 ESG - no money. Next, you go to a company that helps you score points. This company does research and says: "You have a great project and without changing anything, we can score points if 3 out of 10 managers leave and we take black women in their place." What will the managers say? - That's right, they will send you, and they will say that you need to look for points somewhere else. And then they change either the script, or the actors, or the screenwriters, and so on.
P/S: the term ESG has long been toxic, and types from investment funds are already looking for how to do the same thing, but under a different name.
As well as racism, feminism and others. Many have realized that this is a problem too late and they are fighting with something that has not been there for 30 years. Was there a problem with racism in the United States? Of course it was, but it began to fade away with the death of King in the early 2000s (even earlier) she was no longer there (apart from isolated cases). It's the same with this schizoid feminism. If women were oppressed, they would simply not be allowed to hold rallies and demonstrations.
P/S: And now, liberal publications have started writing and talking about ESG shit. Many write that the approach is bad, others that they "won" and no more points are needed. Conditionally, if EGS is canceled tomorrow, then for another 3-4 years we will receive the product as our inclusive guys conceived it.
P/S/S: Offtop of course, but it's funny about Boeing. Right now, Boeing has a problem - there are not enough engineers. And why? It's because of inclusivity and diversity. And most importantly, department heads receive bonuses for this. For recruiting poorly educated blacks. If they recruited Chinese or Indians, at least they know engineering.
ESG scores are an indicator of how well a company handles risks and concerns related to the environment, social issues and corporate governance in its day-to-day operations. These points are important for socially responsible investors who want to invest in companies with strict ethical standards and principles of sustainable development, as they give an idea of the long-term performance and sustainability of the company
P/S: Well, except for the last frames, they give you goosebumps and you realize that "Yes, this is Star Wars".
