And Neo - will it be? or are Kerry-Anne Moss and Margarita Levieva so unknown that they absolutely do not need to be included in the credits or mentioned that they are also involved in the project?

I'm sorry, gentlemen. Does IT really resonate with the American audience that they continue to shoot such a squalor about the universe of stars? The debut! the trailer is completely empty and does not cling to either the plot, judging by the description, or even more so the characters, the series can be closed without even opening. Disney has gone into a rage with projects on ZV and it looks like we still have a lot of such slag to digest, and then associate with our beloved universe.

@Evittta: The main thing is that it would resonate not with the American audience, but with investment companies like blackrock. You can also view ESG (Environment Social Governance) scores. And so there are a lot of companies that help you gain these points. EU-but few points, big risk - they won't give you money. Further more. For example (everything is conditional, but the essence is correct):
You have a great script that doesn't dial ESG. The director and screenwriter are talented, but unfortunately white heterosexual men. The actors of the main roles are also white hetero. As well as the heads and chairmen of the board of directors, they are also white heterosexual men. In fact, it's almost 0 ESG - no money. Next, you go to a company that helps you score points. This company does research and says: "You have a great project and without changing anything, we can score points if 3 out of 10 managers leave and we take black women in their place." What will the managers say? - That's right, they will send you, and they will say that you need to look for points somewhere else. And then they change either the script, or the actors, or the screenwriters, and so on.

P/S: the term ESG has long been toxic, and types from investment funds are already looking for how to do the same thing, but under a different name.

@max_roose: that's exactly what it is and I'm just FURIOUSLY THROWING UP... and all at the instigation of the fucking SJW (warriors of social justice), and now there will be no end to it, despite the fact that white cisgender louts by default cannot take offense and demand justice.

@MarkRaffer: In fact, it will be slowly coming to an end. There is such a system as with investments. If your grandmother went to buy bucks, it means it's too late.
As well as racism, feminism and others. Many have realized that this is a problem too late and they are fighting with something that has not been there for 30 years. Was there a problem with racism in the United States? Of course it was, but it began to fade away with the death of King in the early 2000s (even earlier) she was no longer there (apart from isolated cases). It's the same with this schizoid feminism. If women were oppressed, they would simply not be allowed to hold rallies and demonstrations.
P/S: And now, liberal publications have started writing and talking about ESG shit. Many write that the approach is bad, others that they "won" and no more points are needed. Conditionally, if EGS is canceled tomorrow, then for another 3-4 years we will receive the product as our inclusive guys conceived it.
P/S/S: Offtop of course, but it's funny about Boeing. Right now, Boeing has a problem - there are not enough engineers. And why? It's because of inclusivity and diversity. And most importantly, department heads receive bonuses for this. For recruiting poorly educated blacks. If they recruited Chinese or Indians, at least they know engineering.

@LockMyClock: Google it. It's too much to write to get the point across. I'll copy it a little bit.

ESG scores are an indicator of how well a company handles risks and concerns related to the environment, social issues and corporate governance in its day-to-day operations. These points are important for socially responsible investors who want to invest in companies with strict ethical standards and principles of sustainable development, as they give an idea of the long-term performance and sustainability of the company

@max_roose: Boeing does not have enough engineers because they were bought out by dealers in the 90s and began to furiously optimize EVERYTHING.

There is no need to make a series about the formation of Yoda, introduce his teacher into the plot, tell about his race and thereby develop the universe, or tell what Ezra and Thrawn did after they disappeared, but no - we will shoot how once again someone prevents the Jedi from living)

I was more alarmed by the news that one of the "screenwriters" did not watch the movie at all. And they took it in order to make the plot less dependent on the original. Uhm...

@luvrok: in general, I agree, but this moment was outraged rather by the departure from the usual and minimizing references to the original. What for? After all, animals are inherently attracted by their world. That is, the showrunners are trying to get rid of the main advantage of the franchise. Where is the logic? If most of the references were removed in the same Asoka, then there would be nothing to look at at all. Oh, those pens of theirs... We men don't understand😅

@yurkaaaa: okay, Obi-Wan was made by some leftist woman, but Ahsoka was made by Filoni himself, who, I'm sure, no one interfered with, no producer put any pressure on him. This makes it even more insulting.

@HungryChicken: Well, for now, yes. Moreover, in fact, the links are not required there at all. The story itself is cool and there are a lot of places to put it.
P/S: Well, except for the last frames, they give you goosebumps and you realize that "Yes, this is Star Wars".
