Disney will release an animated "Star Wars" anthology about supporters of the Empire

The first poster and trailer of the animated anthology "Star Wars: Tales of the Empire", the sequel to "Star Wars: Tales of the Jedi", which was released in 2022, have appeared online.

The new project will tell the story of the supporters of the Empire from the point of view of two heroes: young Morgan Elsbeth, who, having lost everything, takes the path of revenge, and former Jedi Barriss Offee, who is ready to do anything to survive in a rapidly changing galaxy. The choices they make will determine their fates.

The creator of the project is Dave Filoni, the creative director of Lucasfilm. The series will have six episodes and will air on Disney+ on May 4.
