And when the three of them got out of the car to defend Morse, they were like the three Musketeers :))
And it was very symbolic how Bright was saved by the hated advertisement with the pelican :))
A wonderful, very touching ending.
The arrival of the Bright Fairy Strange trio to help Morse was suddenly reminiscent of the appearance of Jim Hunt and the team at the beginning of Ashes to Ashes o_O
And then Bright, full of sincere pride and dignity.: "Sergeant Jago may be influential among the patrol guards or in the UGRO, but he has no power over the traffic police" — such a powerful scene that I even applauded... Bright always reminded me of a nail in his cap — he is a nail, but he is absolutely inflexible; I adore him and the Lesser who plays this role.
And how it contrasts with the previous season! — this one ends on an optimistic note for the entire department, and the fact that Morse enters the house in which he will live his whole life — now all that remains is to get that Jaguar. It's so good.
This, of course, is not the main advantage, but it is a pleasant addition to interesting cases, amazing relationships between the characters and just a great atmosphere (both the picture and the music). The fifth season is already underway, and I still can't get enough of how beautifully this series was shot.
P.S. Since the first season, I want Morse and Joan to be together. Considering what we've already been shown for a little over four seasons, and knowing what kind of character will become in "Inspector Morse," do you think I should put aside my hopes for such an outcome?)
