Description
Elementary is a modern-day take on the classic Sherlock Holmes story about a crime-solving duo that cracks the NYPD's most impossible cases. Following his fall from grace in London and a stint in rehab, eccentric Sherlock escapes to Manhattan where his wealthy father forces him to live with his worst nightmare - a sober companion, Dr. Watson.
"I'm staying..." is a simple phrase in response to learning the usual truth, simple gestures, simple hugs, and there are countless emotions from them. As well as from that phrase "I was dying ..." in the finale of last season, which, yes, remained the real peak of their relationship and, perhaps, the entire series. Maybe this finale didn't last very long before, but it just underlines how powerful it was. However, I wrote back then that it was unlikely to be surpassed, but the authors honestly tried and were close.
Thank you for seven years of wonderful adventures. To the new - the unique! - reading characters familiar from childhood. For complicated cases, which are also almost always responsive to the social agenda. For the fucking humor (especially related to Watson's awakenings and anonymous assignments). For finally showing on the screen the equal partnership of two people who have not slipped into a relationship in 7 years, but have become the closest friends.
And special thanks to the CBS deal with online platforms, which allowed you to enjoy this show for an extra three or four years, bypassing the frankly not the most successful ratings on the channel itself.
All's well that ends well. I would like to watch Sherlock and Joan like that again and again, but sooner or later it had to end, the series ended very well. Thank them for 7 wonderful seasons.
But Joan's dad is very strange: "I missed you, so I wrote a book about you having sex with Sherlock."
Извините, если резко, но достало, что даже в сложно прописанных женских персонажах зрители видят лишь очередную самку для спаривания с каким-нибудь мужиком.
