It's a great series, it's a pity there's nothing like it. And as soon as I saw Sarah, for some reason I was sure that Erica would be her doctor. It's a pity that there are only 4 seasons, I would love to see how Erica treats Sarah.
The episode literally flew by ... Very sad and touching ... And how wonderful it is that Erica found the strength and continued on her way, even thanks to the great support of Dr. Tom...
One of the best TV shows I've ever watched. How psychologically subtle and accurate everything is served. If at first everything seems like just a cute trinket, then later you and Erica lead to much deeper discoveries. And in the end, it turns out that the series teaches kindness and the ability to be happy. Which is generally a rare phenomenon in our time. I watched all the seasons and supposedly went through therapy with Dr. Tom myself)
- What happens when we don't allow ourselves to change? - We are degrading. - yes. When we deny the change that wants to happen, that we need, we destroy more than we imagine. We are interfering with the natural course of life.
The farewell scene between Erica and Dr. Tom was very touching! Well played.
And, of course, I also think that this is one of the most wonderful series, and I would like to recommend it to everyone)) I've only seen something similar (in terms of different life stories, emotional states of people, and the work of a therapist) in the TV series In Treatment, which I also really liked. But Being Erica is also easier, perhaps.
@Nadezhdat: Nadia, the series and the series are not about that. You have obvious problems. They usually treat a group of people so much when they are dissatisfied with themselves, but at the same time they do not want to do anything for development. Focus on yourself. You need it. Understand that malicious pieces of conscience harm this world much more than people of non-traditional orientation or blacks. Or whoever else you hate.
@Nadezhdat: Have you really watched the series? Because judging by how much anger and condemnation you have, the series didn't teach you anything at all.
I love this series. In some places, it helps you to sort yourself out very well. Moreover, by doing this without throwing the basic truths at you head-on.
It was very cool! Such an unusual series, quite light, but at the same time making you think about everything that happens in your life. And I'm so happy for Dr. Tom, he finally deserves to be happy, to devote time to himself and the woman he loves, even though it was incredibly sad to say goodbye. It's such a pity that there's no sequel, although it's probably for the best, because it would have been a completely different series. Everything has a beginning and an end!
The first seasons aroused more interest and empathy in me. When Erica began to be led to believe that she could become a doctor, I thought that this was such a devaluation of psychotherapy. It turns out that you can just fall to the bottom, study with a specialist for several years and then become a doctor. A doctor who can't decide for himself what to do, which of the men she sees next to. I'm glad that Sam has found her happiness. But there are so many questions about how an experienced doctor could not notice that she was pregnant. I gave birth at home in a children's pool. There are indeed many instructive moments. But there are even more questions and indignation.
I agree that I didn't notice, but the fact that I gave birth at home, I think it has something to do with her boyfriend and his slightly unusual family.
Thank God Dr. Tom was alive at the end (otherwise we buried him there a couple of episodes ago! 🙃). Someone in the comments promised that Kai would tell how he managed to live in the past, but that never happened. And by the way, in my opinion, he is the only hero about whose life in the present nothing is even mentioned in passing. But well. I'm happy for Sarah. I'm even surprised that with Tom and Erica having such a close relationship, she was given his daughter as a patient. Or does the doctor-patient pair somehow add up by itself and no one influences anything? Tom seemed to be choosing there before he left 💁♀️
@sveti_shi: I think the answer to Kai's life in the past was that after breaking up with Erica, his doctor came back and said that it was working on one of his injuries. Apparently, he was on strike the same way as before, so he could stay in the past for a long time.
I wonder if she really won't die at 40, as her future version told Erica. For some reason, it seems to me that this could be a deception to calm down the current Erica.
I usually don't like it when there are many seasons and the series is delayed, but here I even wish they had filmed season 5 about Dr. Erica and Sarah, it would be interesting to watch. It was a very instructive series that helped me figure out a lot about myself. The only thing I didn't like was how Kai was treated, I could have thought of something else. And Dr. Nadia has not been sympathetic since her first appearance. 🙄 I may be reviewing some episodes.
It's a good series. A heartfelt ending. Yes, many points raised doubts, and sometimes indignation. But overall, I liked it. This series made you think about a lot of things, and look at a lot of things in a different way.
PS: still, Erica will see Dr. Tom again (even though he won't know her at these moments)
Does the patient see the patient, but not the doctor? Erica was forbidden to meet with D.Tom, but the first patient was his daughter. What's the point?
The ending is relatively good, the point was made)) But I still have the main question: if doctors can be transferred just by thinking about it (both themselves and the patient), then why did they almost always go through the doors?

Therapy and the opportunity to change your life are well shown.
I cried the whole episode.
