And the thought flashed through my mind that this was her first more or less natural game (before that it was funny to look at her, with her accent on the Rostov accent)
@dariapolis: There was no conscience there, most likely he was just afraid of who would be waiting for him on the other side and who would fry him in a fiery cauldron. The ending is certainly creepy and mystics mixed in the end in the form of his victims, and his corpse after the execution. But as evidenced by the video just before the shooting, remorse on his face is not particularly noticeable, as well as fear.
When he is a little boy looking into the grave, you can talk a lot. But as I understand it, it was a reference, a flashback to his childhood from where and how it all started and why he became like this. Perhaps he was a witness to something, perhaps he himself participated/killed, and perhaps there was his real/fictional brother in the grave. That's probably why they showed him before his execution, as a child, so to speak, the circle closed, they returned to their origins.
The final episode of the whole season, just a gorgeous shot. The history of the personality is revealed from the point of view of psychiatry and the attempt to show the condition and general appearance of Chikatilo was a success!! Bravo. I was able to look at the situation from many angles thanks to this project. Thank you❤
The series is more about the investigation than about Chikatilo. For me, this character was very poorly revealed, I wanted more insight into his problems and what led to this. Yes, it's not a documentary, but it's a series about this man, which says the title and description, and in the end they show us most of the investigation.
That fear when he asked, "Oh, you?" At least I hope that Chikatilo experienced it at least in the last minutes of his miserable life, as well as the fact that he imagined all the victims Although of course this is most likely not the case, he had no conscience, no feelings, and certainly no empathy If there was any regret, it seems to me only that he was caught
It was never shown how they got him to talk. And this is probably the most interesting moment of the whole story. The conversation scene with Nekrasov lasts about 5 minutes at most. And then he goes out to the others and "... everything is ready, comrades!".
And the question is, why was this love line between Vitaly and Irina at all? Only increase the duration of the series? They didn't even logically complete it. She appeared, they were silent in the frame, went into the entrance.. Bravo👏🏻
@Pavlyxa: if you pay attention to the newspaper, neither Irina nor Vitaly are mentioned in the article, all the laurels have passed them by. The scene is strong, you just need to look deeper. They lost the most precious thing in the pursuit of this maniac - a child and almost lost each other, both their careers also faltered, but in the end they made a really important choice - they stayed together. An abandoned crumpled newspaper indicates that priorities have been set.
@Sprite2010: The movie about the movie says that these two were made up, so it's understandable why they weren't in the article. They couldn't have been there, they didn't exist. But even if we omit this moment, it seems that the professor was not there, but if it were not for him, there would be no recognition. They couldn't point out all of them, there were tens of thousands of people involved in the investigation and special operation of the forest belt, they pointed out the most basic and important.
@idrita7siniy: I've always wondered where the line is between 1. "This did not happen in reality, therefore it did not happen in the film." 2. "This is a work of fiction and the author has the right to add whatever and as many "his" details as he wants."
They are both, perhaps, the only ones from the entire investigation who sacrificed a lot for the sake of catching Chikatilo. But their names did not even appear on the pages of this unfortunate newspaper, all the laurels went to others. Therefore, it is quite logical that the two of them go home: they have had enough of sacrifices, it's time to live for themselves and for each other.
There are many similarities with the replica, he was killed in life - killed in the film, what should I have expected? That he will fly away on wings like in the redbull advertisement? A farce. The objective end
They dragged in a disgusting lot of ideology: they went through the journalists (who are wow: they were worse than chikatilo!), and they remembered about Ukraine 5 times, and the only one who supports perestroika is a stuffed fool.
@obsessed: they shot it really well, it's even strange that they were allowed not to shit on the Soviet past once again. What's wrong with journalists? Specifically, these guys are no worse than Chikatilo, but they had and many still have a huge impact on people's minds. Remember our population at that time, people were very trusting, if you are young enough, then look at how at that time people bought shares of MMM, charged water at the TV and believed in other heresy. The only one supporting perestroika is not just a fool, but a nomenclator, a hard-headed idiot who will do anything to advance his career, go ahead for a new "mindset".
@Sprite2010: And what do the journalists have to do with it? MMM shares were bought by people with the best Soviet education in the world. They also charged the water.
But in general, we are not talking about the Soviet past, but about our present. The series about a Soviet maniac is used to promote the current agenda: banning the media, "denazification" and the fight against "liberals".
@obsessed: what do journalists have to do with this? Are you serious? People at that time used to believe the press. The same goes for MMM with Chumaks. People with the best Soviet education in the world believed the journalists from all sorts of "Lights" and TV, they were not scared. Where did you see the media ban agenda? In that one sentence? The agenda about "denazification" could be added if the series were filmed in 5 minutes, at the beginning of the events the 2nd season was filmed a long time ago. Moreover, you will be interested in the personality of Chikatilo, and you will have no doubt that he really made such statements when he was spinning like a frying pan. Or was it necessary to lie? And it is very interesting, where did you see the fight against the "liberals"? Of course, if you really want to, you can find anything anywhere, there would be a desire.
It would seem that the dynamics in the final series should be wow🔥 But alas, it wasn't there at all.. I can't say that it was a completely "non-final" ending, but I had to watch at a speed of 2x🥲
Overall, I liked the series, it was well shot (especially considering that the series is Russian-made). The main thing I didn't like was Nagiyev in this role, his constant antics. It seems to me that if they had taken a less media personality, but a more talented actor, the series would have received more positive responses. It is clear that the bet was on Nagiyev, as a famous person, but in this case he spoiled the whole impression of the series.
I totally agree with you. If they had taken a little-known actor, who in himself looks more like chikatilo, the series would have only won. Nagiyev is specifically overplaying and his attempts to portray chikatilo's facial expressions look more like antics. Because of his comedic past, among other things. Overall, the series is good, but it could have been even better.
Honestly, when I started watching the first season, I was afraid that Nagiyev, thanks to his charisma, would play the villain in such a way that they might feel compassion for him. As it was, for example, in the TV series "the man in the high castle", where Rufus Sewell played his character so well that the audience began to feel compassion for this Nazi. Fortunately, the director directed the shooting in the right direction and Chikatilo, played by Nagiyev, does not cause any feelings except hatred and contempt.
@Sprite2010: I agree. As much as I like Nagiyev, his humor and charisma, but he played this bastard in such a way that he made himself hate. There was even a flash of disgust, even for Dmitry himself. And if such a feeling arose, then I consider it bravo to Nagiyev, as a talented actor. And I can't imagine how he could have stood it all mentally and not gone crazy. It's necessary to fully accept and recreate the habits, words, intonation, character of the character, convey all this to the viewer and not go crazy yourself. It's understandable why he refused at first, it's a very difficult role and a lot of responsibility, and I'm glad he handled it. That's how much material he's studied and reviewed with this scum, it's just awful.
Everyone is writing that someone else could be hired for this role. And who would agree and be able to take on this character and then not go crazy?
@SvetikWolf: I don't know who would agree, but if you choose purely by appearance, Gordon's face is similar to Chikatilo's, at least there are more similarities than Nagiyev's.
@SvetikWolf: and what did he recreate? His playing caused nothing but laughter. The ones who really annoyed me were the operatives, who couldn't do anything for the entire 2 seasons because of their stupid ambitions and desire for self-affirmation at the expense of their colleagues.
Dmitry Nagiyev was impressed. Before that, I had only ever seen him in a comedy story, but here is such a serious topic, and also an antihero. Cool. I liked it! But the series itself turned out to be interesting. Gloomy. Detailed. And it's even creepy to think that it was filmed based on real events... Everything is not bad, but there was probably a little lack of disclosure of the maniac, psychosomatics in terms of what he had done. Why did it all start, what's the reason?! The origins, so to speak. And what is that bald boy (as I understand it, the same Chikatilo) doing at night in the cemetery?! And so it turned out very well.
3 out of 5 , for Russians this is of course a breakthrough, so although there are more minuses than pluses , Nagiyev infuriated all the time, they showed more how the police worked at that time than the maniac himself and his actions , I would really like to see his Istria from a to z, which led to this, etc. and not running A boy who was clearly a little killer . It 's a pity for the guys who eventually worked hard for this cause , but basically no one took the honors and laurels for themselves .
I liked the series, it was well shot, Chikatilo was well revealed (I was surprised that Nagiyev would play his character well. I'm not used to seeing him in this style). Plus, the cast is well-chosen. It was so nice to see a lot of forgotten actors in the second season. The atmosphere of the 2 seasons is just off the charts. I liked the fact that the court portrayed it exactly as it was. P.S. I am very glad that we did not forget about the maniac who was operating at the same time as Chikatilo himself. I was pleasantly surprised that they also made a couple of cards about him.
Kovalev said prophetic words about Chikatilo's interview: "That's what this hu is.The nudes on TV are not his fault, but those who filmed, prepared and aired them. This evil will be scarier than the ripper itself. THEY'LL KILL PEOPLE'S MINDS."
@govoradlo: + it's scary to even imagine that if, for example, he hadn't been sentenced to death, and let's say he was still alive and sitting somewhere, uhhh, as a conditional Sabchak, his hands would itch to do an interview with him...as with that one..another cognac.
@govoradlo: Oh well, as if newspapers and then radio hadn't done the same thing for centuries. In general, it seemed to me that this was an attack on glasnost and freedom of speech, saying that censorship was better.
When season 2 began, I had a slight shadow of discontent and boredom, but then they accelerated and in the end I liked the season no less than the first. I was really looking forward to the scene with the psychiatrist, this is the most interesting thing, why didn't they really show that conversation?
The paradox of such series, which are based on real historical events, is that you seem to realize that this is the worst movie, but you still watch it as if it were a documentary. So it was with Chernobyl, and so it was here. It was only in Chernobyl that everything was gradually unwound, and eventually it was unwound. And here something was missing, there was a strong understatement. It seems that they tried to convey the atmosphere, but something is still wrong. I still wanted more about Chikatilo, more horror, crime solving, conversations with a psychologist, confessions, but alas(( Nagiyev is a good actor, you believe him, but, damn, this is some other maniac, not Chikatilo ((he is shown to us as a terrible sociopath, with grimaces and strange antics. Which makes it completely unclear how, with all this kit, he ingratiated himself into people's confidence, how he managed to lure SO MANY victims. And, well, okay, when he was pretending to have an attack or talking to prostitutes, but HOW are the others??? Yes, it would be unpleasant to talk to him during the day, at least, not to mention going somewhere! I don't understand what the producers were thinking when they decided to show us just such a guy.... The wife is also a strange character. They wrote that she was a strong and self-confident person, immediately all clamped down, zatyuk, and the actress sometimes speaks as if she is reading the role for the first time ((during the interrogation with her, she says that no, she did not suspect, although she seemed to behave in previous episodes as if she suspected everything the same. And my daughter talked about it all the time, why didn't my wife think about something like that... And many of the roles, the actors, their lines - everything is somehow crumpled, as if they were in a hurry, shot a take and damn, it will do. In general, I wanted more, but we got what we got.
@van_nilla: It was easier for his wife to say that she hadn't noticed anything, because if she had said otherwise, she would have received a logical question as to why she hadn't informed anyone before. She said it out loud during the interrogation.: that she could have prevented so many victims. She understands this perfectly well. Just out loud, when it's important "what people say", the wives of maniacs will never admit that there were flags.
@polibelle: agree. But, at least, one could say that yes, there were oddities, but xs, you never know what was in his head. And since it was like an ideal husband, everything was fine, they didn't notice anything... But in general, it's scary, of course, to realize that I've lived side by side with a serial killer for so many years, I don't even want to imagine (((((
It is extremely difficult to evaluate this series after recently watching Mind Hunters, there is something to compare it with, and our series looks extremely weak and pale. Of course, this story is closer to our compatriots, but how poorly everything is revealed, which characters are shallow, and the narrative is rather mediocre. The only thing the series shows by contrast is that criminology used to be extremely low-level. Such moments are simply not disclosed, especially when the imitator Kostya appeared, the nature of the wounds, and various murder weapons (for example, the length of a knife blade).
Sarik Andreasyan talks about how television is killing people's minds. The screenwriter of such masterpieces as "Pregnant", into the soul of the new Carlson and the rest who gave a shit to the entire population of the country ... That's exactly what he talks about the influence of cinema on the masses...
I have no complaints about the series anymore. That's all I wanted to say.
It turned out well for a Russian TV series, although it was delayed a little.
Somehow we didn't spend much time talking to psychologists with Chikatilo, but it's a pity. That would be interesting. The journalist was still cheering.
Well, Irina and Vitaly still chose each other. It's good that the serial killer series showed at least something positive.
If they had written at the end after the credits, "This film serves as a guide for all directors and actors so that they know how NOT to do it," it would have been perfect, and not to dig in.
It's a great cemetery scene, creepy. His memories of the past, childhood traumas, left him there, so he died, apparently, as a boy. Immature, failed. The search and capture scenes seemed too long, but they gave 1 episode to the testimony and 1 episode to the punishment. They didn't reveal his thoughts, or his fear, if there was one. I really missed something. And in general, Chikatilo was made out to be ridiculous and underdeveloped, not creepy and visionary. The picture and the music are great, but the plot and the game are highly questionable.
If you don't find fault with the details, then the overall impression is not bad. It's worth taking a look at it, at least in order to make your impression on it. The second season, in my opinion, came out better, more dynamic, more emotional than the first. Will I review this work over time? Definitely not.
It didn't work out that way. Nagiyev, who plays Daffy from the first part of a Very Scary Movie, is, as teenagers say, a cringe. God only knows why Russian cinematographers try to turn any story into Scandinavian noir, the aesthetics that Lapenko reproduces in his show would be perfect.
For those who missed the series, I recommend watching the issue of Criminal Russia about Chikatilo (available on YouTube). Those who saw it at the time of its release will not lie - this is the greatest work in the genre of "Soviet horror", it hits the brain hard.
After watching the last episode, there are several conclusions about this series. First of all, I would like to note that it looks untidily boring. If at the beginning you are interested in the very image of Chikatilo performed by genius Nagiyev, then by the middle you just want the series to finally be completed. The actors in this series don't impress in any way, and they just don't interest you in any way with their acting. The soundtrack, which is simply mesmerizing from the very first minute, just makes me sick at the very end, because it is stupidly the only one in this picture. We can continue to talk a lot about the disadvantages, but, summing up, I still want to say that, despite the length of this series, he coped with his main task. The painting is really intimidating after you finish viewing it. The image of Chikatilo is revealed. The entry into the story of a person who does not even have a clue about the events has been completed. The camera work is just great. And secondly, it's not clear what was said in the first place. 6/10
And how many movie bloopers in the series, then he put the knife down one at a time, and a second later it was completely different, not the successful closing of the air conditioner, but the scene where he was beaten bald, and in the next episode he was hairy again and the verdict was read to him, he had his hair on... Not to mention historical inaccuracies, for example, he was shot in the back of the head, not in the eye, and 5 people were shooting, not one.
The symbols finally rolled up in the form of a possible awareness of their atrocities. Death is in the face when he sees the light ahead of him and takes off his glasses for this. Overall, the series is not bad, I'm happy, despite the many problems of production and acting. A.R.Chikatilo, of course, you don't start to hate less, but you understand those people who matured and sincerely hated him when they found out who exactly committed all these crimes. Vitvitsky explained this. It's hard to say whether to recommend watching it or not, my mom watched the first season and it seems fine to her.
The opinion about the series has changed. I had a hard time with season 1, and I watched this one in one go, and it was very interesting to find out how he would be caught. The opinion about Nagiyev's game has also changed. Yes, he doesn't look like a real Chikatilo, but as an independent maniac - very much, and a lot of things were copied well from Chikatilo. In the last shots, I stopped distinguishing the actor at all and saw only the character. Most likely, it's a matter of habit, after all, he starred more in comedies. The series would have turned out to be of better quality if they had filmed season 1, but filled exclusively with murders and investigations, without a love line and swearing.
I looked the other way around, and to be honest, the Dahmer was shot much better than this hd, it was hard to master all 2 seasons, it was very stretched.
I remember the horror in my mother's eyes when she watched a documentary about Chikatilo and then she was covered with a flashback from childhood, Alexandrovka, Rostov-on-Don, she and her sister were walking in the yard, pine trees were planted along the alley, which were covered with snow. At some point, my sister lost her mother with a glance and ran to my grandmother, and then it turned out that my mother went down the alley with my uncle and shook the branches off the snow, at the end of the alley he took her by the hand, she screamed and he left. Andrey Romanovich actually turned out to be an uncle.
@marimafia: the blade is near the throat of a pretty woman. At some point, the blade awakened the killer instinct in Chikatilo, probably even aroused him...
It seems to me that it was possible to fit the whole story into one season without any problems. It turned out to be too long, some scenes were about nothing at all, I wanted to squander (or do my own business at this moment). Nagiyev played the maniac well, but he was no Chikatilo. Was it really impossible to find someone at least physically similar to him? I remember that in some episode it was said about an asthenic physique, which was completely unrelated to the man who was shown on the screen. The love line, as far as I was concerned, was completely out of place. But, of course, for some reason it is believed that without love, the series will be completely uninteresting to watch. Imho, but it's not like that. She only irritated and stretched an already long-running series.
I liked the series, it was filmed worth watching, the plot is interesting, I advise you to watch it, despite watching the series, I also want to read a book on this series
I know how stupid this is going to sound... but I started watching the series precisely because of Nagiyev and it was because of him that I felt a constant desire to quit watching.
If the primary and only task of the actor was to cause disgust for the character, then it succeeded by 100 and even 1000%. Chikatilo is disgusting from the tips of his fingers to the last hair. And it seems like it should be a delight: that's a freak! However, in my opinion, the viewer should not experience a primitive feeling of disgust, but horror. The horror is not only from his "creativity", but from the degree of mimicry of a maniac, his ability to seem like everyone else, to be a good-natured uncle, a harmless intellectual who suddenly drops his disguise in an instant and turns into a mad animal.
I didn't see anything like that in the series. This Chikatilo is annoying from the very first second, all his behavior, nightmarish facial expressions, busting with a false jaw cause an instant desire to get away. I doubt that someone would risk going into the woods for such a Chick (well, if only a shit-drunk slut). Everyone would shy away from him. If, for example, I had seen such a muzzle on my uncle's face as a child, I would have run screaming to my mother.
In real life, judging by the documentaries, Chikatilo, when he was not making faces at the trial and interrogations, looked like a completely trustworthy citizen. Nagiyev's character did not look like that for a single moment. For me, this is an awesome minus. What is the reason? I have no idea. Perhaps this was intended, perhaps the actor's personality or his charisma interfered...
Everything else in the series was great. It looked in one breath. Thank you so much for a couple Irina+Vitaly. They did not let us forget that life does not consist of mutilated corpses, that it continues despite all maniacs.
You can watch the series, but the failures are felt even for a person who has just read an article on Wikipedia. Not to mention for those who have watched Documentaries. To be honest, the series could safely be called "Forest Belt", as it was already written under some series. This series is more about the investigation, and the fact that the final conversation with the psychiatrist was not enough, as he eventually led Chikatilo to a confession. And personally, I did not have enough consequences of all these murders, well, like they never showed the relatives of the victims. It seems to me that no detective series can do without this, and this is one of the key points on the influence of the viewer to understand how brutal it was. And for the rest, yes, the series is about an investigation. It's not enough about Chikatilo. There is nothing really about his life before, about his childhood, which was the starting point. And that would be interesting to see. Nagiyev, as for me, plays well, but a maniac, and not specifically a Chikatilo. Even it caught my eye, a person who didn't really watch documentaries. And for those who watched and were interested in this story, probably even more so.
As a result of 2 seasons of the series: The series is very long-running. Or the creators incorrectly placed the narrative blocks - at first we thought about almost nothing for a long time, then abruptly at the end of the second season we caught a maniac and put the interrogation of a psychiatrist purely in one and a half episodes. I would like more interrogation. It was possible to show some of the murders in the present tense, and show some with flashbacks in a dialogue with a psychiatrist. Otherwise, the doctor asked him a couple of questions, talked for 10 minutes, and then he comes - everything is ready. And how did they get him to talk? Where are the moments from childhood, from youth? I read the biography of Chikatilo, there is something to show and tell. Or have you decided that the running boy in the screensaver is enough? Like, here's a boy for you, then everything is according to Jung? In the last two episodes, where Irina was not present, I caught myself thinking that I really like it. If she hadn't been in the plot, like their strange love line with Vetvitsky, it would have been more interesting. There would be no suffering of these and empty conversations. And at times, the cops were really shown to be dumb, sho kick-ass. You look and think "well, it's obvious", but they "no, it doesn't mean anything! About nothing! Generally!" A three-star series for me)
My opinion remains the same, it was necessary to collapse everything into one 10-12 episode season so as not to pull the cat for anything. It's too long in places. But I liked the final episode for the most part. We learned a little more about the personality of Chikatilo, but it's a pity that there was no full-fledged conversation with a psychologist, but only some crumbs. In general, the second season seems to be better than the first one, most likely due to the fact that there is less Nagiyev himself, his eternal antics, maybe he began to play a little more restrained, because in the first season this was the main problem. But when Chikatilo was shaved bald, well, he looked like Nagiyev, a straight physical education teacher, and you can't do anything about it, you don't see Chikatilo, but you see Nagiyev drooling. Of course, I would not revise this creation, but it is worth getting acquainted at least once, especially if I have not come across the history of Chikatilo before, so that at least in general terms I have an idea about it all.
I mastered the background on accelerated, which in general did not reduce the desire to reduce the number of episodes by half. Moreover, the drudgery of trying to catch a maniac and grind up a hardened mindset looked right. I'd like to throw out the love stories. Who needs them in such series? And with such a weak acting.
I don't cling to deviations from the real story, cinema is always inspired by something and someone.
The first episode of the first season is gorgeous how they shot it, how they scripted it, how they played it, and then everything is just a good our series
Overall, everything was good. But still, the image of Chikatilo performed by Nagiyev well does not pull at the kind uncle who was endearing to himself, with whom both children and young girls themselves went into the forest.
To be honest, judging by the reviews, I expected the worst, but the series turned out to be quite interesting and filmed well, the atmosphere was suitable. Personally, from a forensic and psychological point of view, it was interesting for me to observe the investigation, the case is still exceptional. But the story, of course, is the scariest.. just like Chikatilo himself. Especially after the last episode, a chill ran through my veins and everything inside got cramped(( By the way, the screensaver in the second season reminds me a bit of Mindhunter, but I even liked it, unlike the first season, where there was absolutely no desire to watch because of the creepy sounds. However, I would still like to know about his childhood and what injuries affected him so much. It's a pity they didn't tell you here..
February is howling in the yard like a blizzard, Valentine's Day has arrived, I have a sadness in my heart., The soul is gnawed by longing and torment.
Everyone is in a hurry about business, who's where, Someone wants to congratulate someone., Well, on this day, as always, I, I'm going to the temple to light a candle.
On this day, the evil bullet of you She killed me in nineteen ninety-four., But we remember and love while grieving. Sleep well, Andrey Chikatilo!
Sometimes I replay the series in my head and came to an unexpected conclusion. More precisely, I noticed a minor blunder.
First, the judge said: "The verdict is final and cannot be appealed." This, of course, is nonsense. The Russian legal system has provided a fairly extensive list of instances. First, appeal, cassation... and even in the 90s, there was at least one or two.
Secondly, despite the impossibility of appealing, Chikatilo nevertheless appealed the verdict to some extent - he asked for a pardon from the president.
Thirdly, again, it is clear how the creators WERE IN A HURRY, and did not even tell us that he had submitted a petition at all. We found out about him when he was rejected.
What is this series about? Maybe about Bukhanovsky's genius? Maybe about the work of Issa Kostoev, who became the prototype for the hero Timur Kisaev? About their friction and conflict in the process of capturing chikatilo? No! The series is about the adventures of a goofy Innokentievich in the image of a goofy Shurik from Soviet comedies. About how bad it is for him to survive in this system, how the mundane character of the wise woman Irina periodically tries to pull him out. Vitalik periodically chews intellectual snot. We're shown endless drinking and character squabbles. And Nagiyev in the form of chikatilo. When Nagiyev fell down in the courtroom and began yelling, "I'm sick," I burst out laughing. After all, the spirit of modernity is still alive.
The series is not bad, relatively, but it's not clear why two seasons, it seems to me that 10 episodes at most would be quite enough.
I like Nagiyev, especially in the movie Unforgiven, but it was hard to look at him here, I don't know if it was good or not bad, because he was clearly disgusted.
Ugh, I finally got it. I was infuriated by the journalist, infuriated by the cops, infuriated by the awkward and tedious love line... I somehow came to terms with Nagiyev, but with the caveat that he played a random maniac with a frightening look well, but not Chikatilo, yes...
The only good things in the series were the murder scenes 🤦♀️ Very beautifully shot And Professor Nekrasov was good, but I missed the scene WHEN he talked the maniac into talking...
Despite some points that I didn't like about the series: the poor acting of some actors not in the first plan, the storyline with the gang in the first season, Nagiyev's peculiar game, the excessive length of the series. I would definitely recommend it for viewing.
I especially want to note the thick atmosphere when watching and the really creepy moments in the series, one moment in the preview of the series that is worth it here, as well as the meticulousness of the authors in presenting the story, although it resulted in a slight delay, but the story is presented to the extent that it should be shown for a person like Chikatilo.
Discussion: Season 2, Episode 8 Join the Discussion
127I don't think he really felt guilty.
When he is a little boy looking into the grave, you can talk a lot. But as I understand it, it was a reference, a flashback to his childhood from where and how it all started and why he became like this. The journalist is terribly overplaying.
At least I hope that Chikatilo experienced it at least in the last minutes of his miserable life, as well as the fact that he imagined all the victims
Although of course this is most likely not the case, he had no conscience, no feelings, and certainly no empathy
If there was any regret, it seems to me only that he was caught
1. "This did not happen in reality, therefore it did not happen in the film."
2. "This is a work of fiction and the author has the right to add whatever and as many "his" details as he wants."
The objective end
MMM shares were bought by people with the best Soviet education in the world.
They also charged the water.
But in general, we are not talking about the Soviet past, but about our present. The series about a Soviet maniac is used to promote the current agenda: banning the media, "denazification" and the fight against "liberals".
But alas, it wasn't there at all..
I can't say that it was a completely "non-final" ending, but I had to watch at a speed of 2x🥲
But the series wasn't as bad as I expected.
well, that.
Well, that's the norm) It usually does.
I was really looking forward to the scene with the psychiatrist, this is the most interesting thing, why didn't they really show that conversation?
they will be changed to dead later
Nagiyev is a good actor, you believe him, but, damn, this is some other maniac, not Chikatilo ((he is shown to us as a terrible sociopath, with grimaces and strange antics. I don't understand what the producers were thinking when they decided to show us just such
a guy....
But in general, it's scary, of course, to realize that I've lived side by side with a serial killer for so many years, I don't even want to imagine (((((
The only thing the series shows by contrast is that criminology used to be extremely low-level. Such moments are simply not disclosed, especially when the imitator Kostya appeared, the nature of the wounds, and various murder weapons (for example, the length of a knife blade).
Somehow we didn't spend much time talking to psychologists with Chikatilo, but it's a pity. That would be interesting. The journalist was still cheering.
Well, Irina and Vitaly still chose each other. It's good that the serial killer series showed at least something positive.
The second season, in my opinion, came out better, more dynamic, more emotional than the first.
Will I review this work over time? Definitely not.
For those who missed the series, I recommend watching the issue of Criminal Russia about Chikatilo (available on YouTube). Those who saw it at the time of its release will not lie - this is the greatest work in the genre of "Soviet horror", it hits the brain hard.
6/10
By the end, he was just incredibly annoying.
Results:
6.5/10
Now you can watch about Dahmer)))
Your mother was saved by a Guardian Angel
I wanted to skip every scene. Uncle still can't get out of the role of Zadov.
The series is very long-running.
Generally!"
A three-star series for me)
I don't cling to deviations from the real story, cinema is always inspired by something and someone.
how they shot it, how they scripted it, how they played it, and then everything
is just a good our series
Personally, from a forensic and psychological point of view, it was interesting for me to observe the investigation, the case is still exceptional. But the story, of course, is the scariest.. just like Chikatilo himself. Especially after the last episode, a chill ran through my veins and everything inside got cramped((
By the way, the screensaver in the second season reminds me a bit of Mindhunter, but I even liked it, unlike the first season, where there was absolutely no desire to watch because of the creepy sounds.
However, I would still like to know about his childhood and what injuries affected him so much. It's a pity they didn't tell you here..
Valentine's Day has arrived,
I have a sadness in my heart.,
The soul is gnawed by longing and torment.
Everyone is in a hurry about business, who's where,
Someone wants to congratulate someone.,
Well, on this day, as always, I,
I'm going to the temple to light a candle.
On this day, the evil bullet of you
She killed me in nineteen ninety-four.,
But we remember and love while grieving.
Sleep well, Andrey Chikatilo!
I like Nagiyev, especially in the movie Unforgiven, but it was hard to look at him here, I don't know if it was good or not bad, because he was clearly disgusted.
I was infuriated by the journalist, infuriated by the cops, infuriated by the awkward and tedious love line...
I somehow came to terms with Nagiyev, but with the caveat that he played a random maniac with a frightening look well, but not Chikatilo, yes...
The only good things in the series were the murder scenes 🤦♀️ Very beautifully shot
And Professor Nekrasov was good, but I missed the scene WHEN he talked the maniac into talking...
