Ken's final smile seems to remind us that we have not only King Lear here, but also King Oedipus. Интересно, конечно, как Грег, который вызывал симпатию и сочувствие в первом сезоне, постепенно становится самым мерзким героем сериала
Мерзким опортунистом он был с самого начала сериала, когда его мамаша наставляла "поговорить" с Логаном о его возможных перспективах в этой компании. Не знаю, как можно жалеть двухметрового 30 летнего фрика, обдолбанного травой и работающим в качестве маскота в детском парке развлечений.
Сериал показывает, как те, кто варится в этом клубе "для своих" в конечном счёте ссучивается и старается скинуть ближнего. Никто не вызывает уважения. Отчасти Конор не вызывает омерзения. Да, он старый избалованный дурачок без дела, родившийся с золотой ложкой в заднице, но он, на моей памяти, хотя бы не совершал мерзких поступков и не подставлял никого, особенно из круга семьи. И это как раз яркий показатель, что он оставался всегда в стороне от дел компании и общества семьи, потому и как человек на голову выше своих сиблингов.
