Something in the series of the immortals and the "immortals" divorced like dogs not cut, almost every third character in one form or another has been living for centuries.
@Tuliackbaev: The format of the series obliges. There must be characters who will go through all the seasons. If you change the characters every season, then the audience loses the thread. Modified carbon as an example, the main character's face was changed and the series lost its charm, although the character is the same, and in the original source of the chapters, the hero constantly changed bodies.
Ugh, caught up with the intrigue! I suspect that the DNA of the clones last season also spoiled Demerzel))) She says she's protecting the Empire, but what does she mean by that? The most interesting question)) And since Hober Mallow's attack on Trantor, of course, I've yelled. This is such nonsense))) One unfortunate ship broke through the entire defense of the main planet of the Empire, and then Hober himself ran around among the guards as if invisible. Fire))) And Becky's pet, it turns out, needed to be cleanly splattered with the drool of the Day. I really thought she was taking part in the interdimensional jumps of the ship... Dawn with Sareth two hormonal teenagers. Why did they give him back the ability to fertilize now? Saret has not slept since the Day (it seems). Her flight will become as strange as possible if the Day survives and returns. And finally the insidious plan of the sinister granny became clear. It's cool, but Salvor, I feel, will blow it up in the next series))
@kathrine_adams: she was excluded, according to the Empire. It seems like their ships can't jump where there is a gravitational impact, and the gravity generators themselves are turned off so as not to cause interference. And no one expected that the Foundation ships were ahead of the imperial ones in terms of capabilities, and could do tricks such as jumping into the atmosphere, or being docked to a large ship.
@kathrine_adams: Becky was connected with korobl's jumps, but the spacers gave him the opportunity to control them himself (see the glowing device on his wrist).
I take off my hat and put the Foundation episode 5/5 for the first time. For the density of events, for timing, interest and suspense, for the destruction of established orders in the series. It was extremely interesting to watch. I note: not without the fact that there were enough lackluster episodes for both seasons. Now I want to go down a little to the details of my favorite. Somewhere 138 years after the palace coups of the first season, Gaal, Salvor and Dr. Seldon find a second Foundation, while their adventures take place in isolation from everything else in the series. Were there points of contact with the current first Foundation and the rest of the heroes? I got the feeling that Gaal and the company act like ghosts, because in fact they are already dead after the expiration of time and are not being persecuted by anyone in modern times. Salvor discovers about the radiant and, using the language of Mass Effect, establishes an instant connection between quantum pairs, where after a conversation with the "viceroy" Seldon reveals all the cards to him. The "local" Seldon learns about the role of Hober Mallow and calls on him to find him, but already these events begin in the previous episodes. From this, I assume that Gaal and Co are slightly in the future relative to everything else. The discovery of Tell's longevity and, most likely, Dornik's salvation from the transfer of consciousness leads to strange assumptions that she may become the Mule, since she is not alien to the transfer of consciousness to new bodies. And she lives not the first century. To live another 150 years is not a problem when the sect is full. These are just assumptions.
imagine a girl who just almost died, then came close to death again, her friend and beloved mentor is no longer alive, and her home planet is about to be mercilessly bombed. what is she thinking about?
that's right, about sex with a hot guy. no other way!
@zamizami: I was almost surprised by this motivation. She had wanted to join him in shatyny before, and then she almost died. It's stupid to wait by the sea for the weather when death is around the corner, you have to take the bull by the pants.
@zamizami: there is a mechanism that during a period of prolonged stress caused by external factors, libido increases, something like "if not now, then I won't be able to". But it doesn't work that way for everyone, here as with behavior in sudden stressful situations: someone has a "hit" strategy, someone has a "freeze" strategy, someone has a "run" strategy.
Yes, there are not only timescips in a hundred+ years, there is also a non-linear narrative or what was it with the name of the Hober on the vault (loop?!). Whoo, quantum theory, damn you 😬
The fact that Demerzel is the local gray cardinal and rules everything was obvious even that season. It also seems to me that in the screensaver the figure of a full-length woman with something like a halo is just a Demerzel. And again intrigues, intrigues in the palace. Brother Sunset is thinking very well.
It's funny that the Day does not seem to understand how predictions traditionally work — knowing in advance does not change the result, no matter what actions))
"The guiding and guiding force of the Empire, the core of its political system, state and public organizations is Lady Demerzel" - purely such vibes from the series)))
I feel sorry for Becky 🥺😢 I hope Salvor gives this nasty aunt a hard time and saves Gaal. Salodna now began to sympathize, before that he seemed to me a vile schemer 🤭
@Vse_zrya: The whole episode was riddled with sex... Dawn with a friend, brother Constant and plus two doves have been watching them all this time, Sunset with his passion is almost here, and even Gaal lay down with a nasty aunt.
1) It turns out that Gal's daughter (the caretaker) told Dr. Seldon about Hober malow?! This means that the events that are shown in parallel with Gal and her daughter, the caretaker, take place a little earlier than the "main" time. Did I understand correctly? But I can't remember how they found out about Hober Mallow to tell Seldon.
2) And damn, I thought Becky was the very "cosmolite/navigator" of the ship and controlled the jumps.
3) did someone say that these cosmonauts endowed Hober with their abilities so that he could jump without them?! Isn't that the theory? It wasn't in the series.
4) in my opinion, everyone already thought so about demerzel, but maybe they will tell us something else.
5) PS I don't see chemistry between Hober and brother Constant.
And how did Salvor resurrect? the square woman drowned her with her finger in the last episode in the bass along with Professor Legolasov... or does it mean that they knocked her out, took her out of the basik and took her to the pit with fans? Of course, you need to think a lot, but not over what you would like to think about in the film adaptation.

how glad I am to see Dimitri Leonidas in this role..)

Свернуть адекватную империю ради техносекты
Жду не дождусь следующей серии.
И почему Закат, найдя комнату, решил что именно Демерзель решила скрыть её? Разве было что-то указывающее на неё?
